Cristiano Ronaldo King of Europe - 18 Goals in Champions league single calender season the new record also 27 assists, more than any player in the last 10 years!
Also 98 goals - Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored more goals for the same club than any other player in UCL history!

They should rename Uefa Champions League to Ronaldo Champions League. How can he struggle in La Liga though i can never understand.

his year calendar record includes goals in quarter, semi and final against bayern, atletico and juve. He's in a group stage now, should he not score then? Appreciate him. I'm happy to see that Messi and Cr era is not over yet.

Every UCL season there's teams like Apoel that get in the competition and I have no idea how.

Ronaldo does have puzzling league performance ever since SuperCup ban. The guy is getting old obviously but I think he can push strong for another 3-5 years at least. He has fantastic physics.

Confidence boost for Benz I hope, don't like seeing great players go out of form and let it effect their performances.

I'm not convinced with those goals (CR7), because it is the 5-0 and the 6-0. I hope he will break his record against strong team in Quarter, Semi and I hope Final.

He scored against all kind of teams. It's true that Apoel is a lesser club, what about Juv, BM?

Guys, I'm talking from September. Can't you see CR7 is performing less than the end of last year ? Seems that my comment wasn't understood well ... RM needs CR7' goals in La Liga, some points went because RM couldn't score as many goals as before, and surprise, CR7 and Benzema have the same goals (or less) than Isco, Asensio ...

puskas should be renamed after legend cr7. And we football fans should call goal as ‘Ronaldo’ every time any player scores.. real madrid did not humiliate apoel at least by taking their foot off the gas pedal..

Real were never lacking opportunities to score, they were just unlucky. Especially vs Atletico they should have won. Anyway, they are still at the same football level like last season minus the goals. Glad to see CR and Benzema back to business!

Very wise comment. Their defence at times is abysmal and they shouldn't concede how they do, but they are still top level and just don't take the chances. Benzema's form and maybe even CR7's form is to blame a little, Bale injured too means their main attack force has been impeded this season and you can see that by the lack of goals scored.

To be honest, he started the season fairly sour after that ban from the ref push against Barca. Seems like his personal life is getting hectic (as if it wasn't before) with his new kids and such, don't know how he'll continue to play and bag the typical amount of goals he usually gets from now. If he can sustain his stats and just keep playing at the highest level, I will be incredibly inspired.
