Good result for Arsenal! The second half performance is so much better. The first half is unbearable.

Sead Kolasinac is MoM for me, his substitution in the second half for Holding changed the game. No more lackluster in the back and much more aggressive play.

Again, Arsene Wenger made some weird decision by using Rob Holding, who is so poor in decision making and his poor performance affects other players around him. The play is way too static. There is rarely quick pass exchange in the first half, which is not the typical Arsenal merit. Moving ball fast in the second half creates space and chances.

Finally, I would start Reiss Nelson over that lackluster Walcott all day. In the last 10 mins, he contributed more than Walcott in the whole game.

That first half performance was pathetic... no runs, no movement whatsoever, just lacklustre. Better second half, but a bigger team would've punished us badly in that first half. Would've liked to see Wilshere and Nelson start but what I saw from them was promising, even though it was only 10-20 mins.

Alexis looks like he had zero passion for the club and hated his job, excellent finish though. Walcott is an average player who needs to be gotten rid off. I would start Reiss Nelson over Walcott. And you cant play 3-5-2 with a poor Rob Holding behind. Bigger teams would have punished Arsenal for that lousy defense. Bottomline, you guys need to get rid of Wenger.

koln surely gave arsenal quite a challenge there. good effort to try to win it, even though ultimately it was arsenal's day. they made a pretty decent win, i gotta say. not starting lacazette and mustafi is important stuff to do as they are gonna clash with chelsea this weekend. playing without those two players is still okay for arsenal, but they wouldn't have won this game without putting in kolasinac. it was the perfect thing to do to put the left-back beast in after seeing the fraility of the defence and the lack of deadly attack. holding's performance that night is surely one to forget, same for ospina, he wouldn't have let cordoba make that tremendous shot from distance if he stayed in his line. so all in all, good win, but arsenal should really work on their defence.

When you see Arsenal team history in the European Championships ??? You will be disappointed because they won this cup in 1994 in the old version ... the only cup arsenal team won in European championships ...... and I think Arsenal fans hope to win Europe league cup this season to make something in arsene wenger history and Arsenal team

Yes I am really impressed by Nelson in the last 10 minutes, he has some one-two exchange pass and then thread a good ball for Sanchez in a really good position. He also dribbles the ball out of a difficult position before passing the ball. This is a sign of a future world class player.

Also, Eleny and Iwobi stepped up their games significantly in the second half. Willshere looked really good as well.

Reiss Nelson potential is definitely huge, his dribbling, balance and awareness is great for a mere 17 years old. His play is very mature as well.

Walcott should be sold by Arsenal asap. He's a no brainer with only pace , not even dribbling skills. If there is no HUGE SPACE in front of him to run, he either loses the ball very quickly or have a safe back pass. He also does not read the game well and his finishing ability is shockingly terrible for a winger/ false striker!

Disappointed by Cologne fans, disappointed by 1st half performance. Thankfully the 2nd half was much better, Kolasinac is an absolute tank, Sanchez got bad game but still scored a beauty. Wilshere and Nelson shown some promise!
