This Result was logical because Real Madrid is the History 12 trophies of the UEFA Champions League & considered a giant against small team like PSG and for the Qatari Owner money is not everything ... enjoy & play with Neymar 222 Million Euro hahahahahahahahahaha

I still don't think we saw the best of PSG against Madrid. Unai Emery sort it to remove some of his best players in the starting lineup, why I don't know. Di Maria should of at least of got subbed on with the form he's been in along with thiago and trapp. All I'm saying is that Madrid played all their best players PSG didn't. Unai Emery needs to revaluate

Right? But you're in FootyRoom, land of the Ballon d'Or cockriders who love to masturbate themselves to the standard famous players as in a media battle, totally ignoring the actual match's story.

Half of footyroom is CR7 fanboys who only go on to vote Ronaldo MOTM no matter what.

Honestly if I was a dev at footyroom I would just disable MOTM voting for Real Madrid games.

Ronaldo is deservingly being voted MOTM. The best player on the pitch by a fair margin.

PSG has home advantage in the next game and if they play Thiago, di Maria and Cavani from the start, they can easily score 2 goals and advance.

@6ixSide
you are missing the point fanboy.
Real got lucky at home, and thanks to the dive they got the penalty, and won...but that's history... even if you pass PSG, the real nightmare will await you again at BernaLeo... :)

I don't understand Unai Emery's team selection. You're away from home in UEFA Champions League tie against one of the best footballing teams in the history of all football and you pick a youthful and inexperienced side. "Great" stuff there from a "great" manager.

I mean he's FORCED to play MBappe, for one thing. He HAS TO play Neymar. It's not like he has much choice. They can take Conte and he'll also be limited in his choices by Khelaifi, or whatever the fuck his name is, suggar daddy.

@ndc180: I think Young_Cadbury is not talking about the players that you have mentioned in your comments. Mbappe is wonderful player and last yr UCL is a proof. But Unai Emery selection and decisions were highly questionable.
Why did left out Silva and why Cavanni was substituted in 66th minutes?

mfharis, I respect you for backing my point! Mbappe is a great player and Neymar is exceptionally good, but I just don't understand why he played Yuri, Kimpembe, Lo Celso, etcetera. When you have the players, use them, especially when you have a match against a strong team.

Just to clarify a few points.
Of course Neymar and Mbappe had to play. Those two can turn games around in no time, they just didn't yesterday.
As for Kimpembe and Berchiche, Emery made the right decisions looking at Kurzawa's poor performances ALL YEAR and Silva's inability to handle BIG games. Kimpembe is probably their best defender, he just doesn't have big "name" yet.
REPLACING CAVANI WAS A MISTAKE
NOT SENDING IN DI MARIA AROUND THE 70th minute instead of Mbappe was a mistake.

mbappe is good but he lacks of experience rhis game was too much for him.

He was 90% tricks and nothing more. trying to make Ramos and Marcelo look amateurish and always ended up losing the ball because of that. Di Maria should've started this game

PSG 1st goal - Well played by Mbappe and Neymar. Rabiot at the right place at the right time.

RM 1st goal - Debatable decision by the judge (clearly a dive), but in his defense Lo Celso should keep his hands to himself inside his own box. Good penalty by Ronaldo.

RM 2nd goal - Asensio does a rather poor pass inn to the box and PSG is unlucky/clumsy and Ronaldo is at the right place at the right time.

RM 3rd goal - Asensio again with his pass from left side into the box and this time does it brilliantly, Marcelo is there and does a good finish, putting the last nail in the coffin for PSG.

With all that said, I would like to speak my opinion on Ronaldo and the MOTM rating on this page. Ronald is nowhere near world's best player today. Wasting some big chances in a bad way.MOTM Marcelo

I Agree. The Ronaldo of 3-4 years ago would never have missed that one-on-one with their the Gk. But it's understandable. He's old. 33 for Christ's sake. It's the beginning of a new era and Real Madrid need a new icon.

Yeah Ronaldo is in his downfall it's clear, not to say he won't bag more goals in and he's already got a few goals, he's just set the highest of the highest expectations so anything under than seems bad for him. Hopefully he'll still impress us from time to time. Have to remember he has been consistent for so long whilst other players like Ronaldiniho which was a delight to watch, didn't last that long. In a World of one season wonders, Ronaldo has shine. A new era becons.

What a load of hogwash. Ronaldo is (still) the greatest player on the planet. Deserved MOTM.

Pepe stop hiding behind that Arsenal text because its clear as day that you are a Real Madrid/Ronaldo fan. Ronaldo is aging and although he has never been better than Messi, he is really far from his this season. He had 4 LaLiga goals until 2 weeks ago m8, and lots of misses that cost Real Madrid valueable points which is why they are out of the title race this season (most likely). Ronaldo has been a blessing for football and of course he is the 2nd best player of his time, but hes at the age where most attacking players start declining. Give it 2-3 seasons I doubt he'll even be starting anymore, and maybe even retire (which will be a very sad day for football)

There's a reason why Real has won so many Champions' League trophies: they know how to win games that looked to be going the other way. The tie is not over, but its hard to see Real kept scoreless or giving up three goals.

I honestly would not be surprised if Neymar joins Real Madrid because of the treatment he got in Barca and you can tell he wants to join RM in this game he was even being friendly with the Real Madrid fans when he took the corners then he talked to CR7 at the end of the game. Neymar LW CR7 ST Bale RW. RM would be complete.
