Disappointed in Ibra, such a big guy gets stepped on and rolls around on the floor like a little bi**h... I know it hurts, been stepped on many times while playing myself, but damn, don't roll on the floor man, especially when you have a taekwondo blackbelt

It`s a shame to see this new generation of fans adoring this clown no matter what he does. He is immensely talented that is one thing but people forget that this guy barely played for a team that was not absolutely dominant in the league it played in let alone an underdog.

Short term brilliance/gratification for the fans and clever self marketing to stay relevant and in the news. A true self-serving mercenary, maybe the best one ever.

Ok assuming that you are the one who downvoted me, what did you disagree with? Of course there have been clowns for ever. Some of them happen to be very talented like Ibra, remember Gascoine?

Just that your statement is neither a counter argument nor an opinion with a relevant point?

I didnt downvote you, and Ibra is not a clown. And even if he were he disappears next to many others. He is sometimes controversial on the pitch, that's it.

Ok I assumed that cause yours is the only comment made today in this thread and the only downvote. Apologies.

He is sometimes(?) controversial on the pitch? Pfff please look up how many bans he got for stomping on people like Lovren, Guardado etc not to mention Ruffier and these just in France. Wanted to celebrate and threw a tantrum cause he had to take a doping test? Literally had fistfights with teammates like Onyewu, Mido etc. and threatened to break Van Der Vaart`s legs?

Humiliates opponents and teammates alike because he is always the "big dick" at the teams he chooses to play? I don`t mean the playful banter. I mean insulting, kicking people etc . publicly. Both literally and figuratively. I remember him talking shit in the press too, multiple times like a teenager.

These examples are not even the half of it. I don`t think even he believes he is or ever was at the level of the likes of Shearer, Ronaldo, Henry even Bergkamp etc. at their prime. Don`t give me that stuff about his golden years at Inter when Juve was relegated and AC Milan was hit hard by the same shit from which they are still trying to recover from. Inter had virtually no opponents. Napoli were just up and coming and Lazio were meh. PSG the same a different way.

I don`t doubt his talent. IMO he simply still is overrated and this "character" he plays is a ridiculous one. While I admire his crazy and unique goals, his stats could have easily been achieved by a good goal scorer like Hasselbaink, Anelka or even Saha if they had played in the teams he played/when he did and consistently.

I wouldn't be so hard on Zlatan, but I also go agaisnt the crowd and agree with Wromthraxx (man your name is hard) here. His achievement with Inter and PSG are not as great as the media paint them, after the $hit storm with Moggi scandal, all Italian elites are in deep swam while Inter is free... PSG dominates even without him... i do find Zlatan super entertaining though

That guy knew exactly what he was doing when backing into Ibra... and when Ibra unprofessionally retaliated, the other guy brought out the "swan lake" in him. Provocations should be punished as well, but sadly Ibra deserved the red. He should know better after all these years.

that's obviously not why he did that, you are missing the point.

Kinda feel like the red card a bit harsh, it clearly a reflex because he get stepped on. Yellow card would have been more fair and I'm an Impact fan. :(

@Ramaboy To be fair, I had looked fast when I made my first comment and didn't realize how long Zlatan stayed on the ground. The hit is also more violent than I originally thought at first so I realize I was wrong.
