Hahaha. It does not matter whether you have 80% or 70% possession, create chances. You need to score goals.

He played well for this club with his brother back in the day and now he managed them well to a mid-table finish and a trophy. well deserves that move to Bayern

Hummels is not what he used to be and Ulreich is OK for average team but not for Bayern, I almost sure that if Neuer is not injured, he would catch first goal and also that Bayern would be in champions league final...

Except that your opinion is based on one match... which is not something you really should. Because Hummels was one of the best or THE best CB this season, and Ulreich was great aswell but people make out that he is bad because of one mistake.

I'm not saying that based on one match, I saw several of them but I might be wrong...Hummels used to be very fast, his passing was excellent and he didn't use to lost challenges like in this match. He is still good, I'm just saying he used to better. Ulreich made a huge mistake against RM which cost them but those things happen, what I was reffering was that his passing skills is not that good as Neuer's and I thing Bayern conceded several goals which Neuer would save in my opinion, like first one in this match or some goals in match against RM

Hummels is still fantastic, I don't see what you do, I think he even improved in his passing skills and became real leader over last 2 years. He occasionally has burps and misplaces passed or mistimes tackles. And no doubt, Neuer is better on ball then Ulreich, not much are better than Neuer.

Well, i would just like to see liverpool lose and in misery on any day, but then they hired klopp :(. I just can't find a reason to hate that man or wish bad for him. He is one truly made for the game, a ronaldinho of coaches. Pure and unadulterated. You have to like him.

Am i being harsh, or is Süle not really Bayern material?

he was probably our best defender this game, and I believe, along with many other bavarians that he is our future.. watch his matches versus real madrid.. he is bayern material absolutely ;)

Yeah, he actually had great season, better than Boateng's. Bit dropped in few matches (he was also unlucky with injuries) but he proved he is up to the task IMO.

No, you're not right. He is very fast, it was his pass that led to the goal for Bayern. And if you watch the two matches against Madrid in the CL-semifinal, he took Ronaldo almost completely out of the game. He was one of the best men on the pitch (and not James who, yes, scored a goal, but like an idiot stopped playing because some RM player was faking a torn-off limb). So he is definitely Bayern material.

I think City, Spurs and Liverpool would beat them. I'm not entirely sure but I think Chelsea would struggle or would cope with Bayern if Bayern weren't in form or started declining. United, I'm not even sure about my team, at times we can beat big teams and other times we just flop. Arsenal, don't even start.

@Bayernman chill bro xD do not generalize. I am very vocal and proud of the German league and their fans and in fact, criticize England more. But that does not mean that i would just say it is the best league and Bayern is the best team. I never said manure is better but then you talk about not how they are playing but when they play at their best in which case I can still argue for manure. Never the less, it;s a pity that pool got city it should have been one of them vs Bayern and we will not be having this discussion. Even the weakest english team , spurs, beat madrid over two legs. Top 3? lol really now!! Mancity, Juventus, liverpool, Napoli, PSG, Atletico.. You were top 3 four seasons ago, not now. Wonder who is blind.

Let's be real, Bayern should absolutely have been given a penalty in extra time there... not sure how the ref didn't give it even after checking VAR, but in any case I'm surprised and happy to see Frankfurt winning this in the end ^^

I am riddled by this, too. As a Frankfurt fan I was already getting ready for the equalizer. I still think that Martinez makes an effing drama out of it, because he puts his foot down like nothing happened first. And THEN he suddenly kicks out like a mule and goes down. Also, the referee might have taken into consideration that Hummels got to take a shot anyway after the foul. That's ususally how it's handled. If it's a slight foul but the player or another gets to take a good shot on goal anyway, the chance was not "killed" by the foul. It wasn't here. I still would not have complained about a penalty.

Not only Bayern but Barca lacking something in Europe. I think their major weakness is quality bench. Both the teams don’t have bench like Real Madrid

@diehardbarca im pretty sure bayerns bench is stronger than madrids, we played with many b team players against rm and still outplayed their midfield.. Only thing we dont have on the bench is a 'bale'

Striker and Robbery. We don't have replacements for Ribery and Robben (except Coman) and Hoeness said he won't buy wingers. And we work better with strikers that aren't top class like Lewandowski. We can't finish for Christ's sake.
