Anderlecht

Anderlecht drew their last encounter with English opponents – 1-1 at home against Tottenham Hotspur FC in the 2007/08 UEFA Cup group stage – to end a run of six successive defeats.
The Belgian champions have finished bottom of the group in all seven group stage campaigns since they reached the last 16 (qualifying for the second group stage) in 2000/01.
In those six seasons, Anderlecht have won just four fixtures and when they beat FC Zenit 1-0 on matchday four in 2012/13 it was their first home success in the UEFA Champions League proper in nine years.

Predictions

Arsenal return to Champions League action with a trip to Anderlecht that they will be wholly expected to take three points from despite their grave injury concerns.

Anderlecht followed up a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Dortmund with successive draws in the Juliper League and look distinctly off the boil. With a young team - 6 of their 11 probable starters are aged 21 or under - they may struggle against Arsenal.

The Gunners were poor in tying with Hull at the weekend and will need to bounce back with a win here.

I hope Martinez can show his best quality of he is better then Szczesny . Sometime only Szczeny is very good. Ball position maybe 40 %, 60% Abderlecht vs Arsenal. Arsenal will win 3;0.

I wanna see 3 points here! I didn't saw Anderlecht this year...But if we play like,against Southampthon we will lose 3 or 2 points here.Anderlecht is small team,but they won't give game to us! Not easy as guests in Belgium! And no injuries,please!
