Match facts

Chelsea

  • Chelsea have failed to score in three of the last four Premier League games against west London rivals QPR.
  • In their last 12 league matches at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have kept 10 clean sheets and conceded just four goals in total.
  • Cesc Fabregas has been involved in nine goals (one goal, eight assists) in nine league games for Chelsea.
  • Seven of Chelsea’s players have started each and every PL game so far; a joint-league high with Southampton.

Queens Park Rangers

  • QPR’s last visit to Stamford Bridge saw QPR win 1-0 thanks to former Blues player Shaun Wright-Phillips (January 2013).
  • Queens Park Rangers have won just one of their last 18 away trips to rival London clubs in the Premier League (D3 L14).
  • Harry Redknapp has lost just one of his last six Premier League clashes with Chelsea (W2 D3).
  • Charlie Austin has scored 23 league goals for QPR since the beginning of last season (incl. play-offs); 17 more than any other player (Ravel Morrison – 6).

Predictions

Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league after Robin van Persie's last-gasp equaliser denied them victory at Old Trafford last week.

Here they face west London rivals QPR, who won for the first time in 6 last time out. They won't be too confident of pulling off an upset at Stamford Bridge, but they did win their last visit there, by a goal to nil with Shaun Wright-Phillips scoring the only goal of the game.

More likely is a repeat of their previous game at Chelsea, which they lost 6-1, especially if the Blues have talisman Diego Costa back. QPR have been terrible on the road this season and could succumb to another heavy loss.

Final Score – 4 : 0

. I hope we thrash QPR. It annoys me that their last visit at Stamford, they scraped a 1-0 victory. Such a small club shouldn't be winning at the home of London kings.
