I loved James's goal, just brilliant. look, from a technical point of view, Arbeloa is a defender, "he shouldn't have been there", Cristiano was and its why he was so pissed off. I guess part of me understands him. I don't agree with Cristiano's reaction though and he should play as a team member not as a individual star. too bad he turned into a great athlete but less of great football player. He lost his football mojo, he stresses and thinks too much. he is not smooth and confident and he knows it. he lost the magic and now he only relies on his technique to score or create chances.

It was incredibly selfish on Ronaldo's part to react petulanty when his team scores. It makes him hard to like or appreciate. To me, offsides should be interpreted so as to disallow goals such as Real's second, even though it was put in by the defender. Ronaldo remained offside during the entire possession and Kroos's pass appears to be going forward. The defender only touched it to prevent it reaching Ronaldo.
