Refereeing stopped Spurs from bagging the win but we should have been moe decisive in our finishing. Positives are that we didn't lose and we have most of our key players for the big City game (missing just Adebayor and King)

Whatever joy I got from watching Spurs draw was marred by the awful circumstances of the match. This match highlights what's wrong with the modern game. 1.Inconsistent and illogical decisions by the referee 2. Disgraceful time-wasting (staying on the floor when everyone knows your fine, taking forever to take a free kick, or walk off during a substitution). 3.Defenders flopping around and getting automatic free kicks without having been touched. What happened to the old-school hard-line defenders that were told to stay on their feet even when tackled so that they could actually, you know, defend?
