everyone thought the 6-1 mauling of everton in the first game of the premier league season was big think again. wigan is going to be in bad shape if anything is based on goal difference. i mean a 5-0 loss to man utd, 9-1 loss to spurs, 4-0 loss to arsenal, and another 4-0 loss to portsmouth. its just look bad for wigan. they should try to get a goal keeper like iker casillas, victor valdes, edwin van der sar, or ganguli buffon, but i doubt those keeper will sign up for wigan. they do need better defenders. you cant always blame the goalie. they do need better defenders.
