You guys are so arrogant thinking you know everything about newcastle fans. Everyone seems to think that now we love Pardew and owe him an apology. 5 wins doesn't make up for 7 points in 4-5 months prior to that, it's ridiculous the naivety of people who don't know anything about our club. We wanted him sacked due to the poor performance at the end of last season and start of this season. We were angry with the 4-2-3-1 formation, we were angry that players were playing out of position whilst others were starting every game when they weren't offering anything. Since then, Pardew has adapted the squad and credit has been given to him for doing so, but by all means we don't love him and chant his name. It's ridiculous we're called fickle because we celebrate our team winning matches, pathetic

Exactly... just because they're fickle they think everyone else is the same. Obviously when results go our way it papers over the cracks, and at least we give credit where credit is due, but if these people had ANY idea of Pardew's deficiencies they wouldn't talk the kind of smack they're talking. If they hadn't realised, this winning run of form was FORCED on Pardew since injuries meant that he had to switch things up and rely on relatively younger/inexperienced players like Abeid, Ameobi and Ayoze, not to mention FINALLY playing Sissoko in the middle. Think he would have done that of his own accord if all our players were fit? Fat chance.

Great last touch on the first goal, but lets not forget the two great assists by Janmaat.

5 wins does not make up for 2 years of misery, most fans still want him gone

Where are those who demanded the managers departure?

Still here. And you don't really know a lot about Newcastle as a club if you think a majority of fans don't want Pardew out. He's just bought a temporary reprieve, and credit where credit is due, but he's a long way from redemption yet.

@Logic Temporary reprieve? haha u geordies are laughable, bunch of knee-jerkers, Pardew got at least 7 new signing and u lot expect him to win every single game from the get-go. Now that he's winning and his squad startin to gel, u lot bring the posters down while silently thinkin "maybe he knows what he's doing after all?". At least us majority pool fans, still stickin by Rodgers even though we play like horse crap lately.

Knee-jerkers? If you even knew what you were talking about, majority of Toon fans were against his appointment from the beginning. Chris Hughton who preceded him wasn't doing fantastic either but the fans loved him. Pardew showed his tactical ineptness right from the get-go and continues to do so, despite the players overperforming like they did in the season they finished 5th. They did so DESPITE Pardew, not because of him.He constantly takes something that's working and breaks it. Took him 2 seasons to FINALLY play Sissoko in his right position in the centre which is why he's doing well now, instead of constantly shoving him out to the wing. Think players like Abeid, Ameobi and Ayoze who could get a look-in if not for the injuries that forced Pardew's hand?

Hats off to newcastle united for never losing spirit even when they were at the bottom of the table. Good job lads! and happy to see Tim Krul improving. Im hoping he starts for netherlands instead of Cillessen since he has more exposure.
