Brazilian striker Neymar could yet disappoint Europe's biggest clubs by staying in homeland.

Only recently rumours were rife that the Santos star had agreed terms on a massive deal to move to Barcelona next year - snubbing Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City in the process.

But now the striker says he could still stay at his current club.

He told Brazilian radio station Radio Estadao: "The possibilities to stay here until December 2014 are very high.

"I like Santos and I'm proud to play in this club. It is clear and certain that I dream of playing in Europe one day and want to test myself in other leagues, not imminently but in a period of time.

"Maybe after the 2014 World Cup I'll see what I decide."
