I'm going to go with my definition of "world-class" being that the player is among the top 3-4 players in their respective roles (not necessarily position, but role). So if you're wondering why I didn't include Courtois, Benzema, Dybala, Pogba, or Pique, it's because I don't think that they are top 3-4 in their roles right now.

With all due respect, I think you're getting a misinterpretation of the definition of 'world class'. I don't think Cech, Mustafi and Bellerin are currently world class. Cech was world class in his younger days, and Lacazette has potential, but I don't believe none are currently WC. I'm actually surprised also that you put Mustafi but no Laurent, who is certainly top class in my opinion. You even put Can, and I personally believe he is nowhere near to be called world class level.

Oblak should be there too if you're considering Courtois and De Gea :p Also curious why Lloris isn't considered world class in some of these lists? Looking at these two tables from the past 2 seasons in the Premier League he pretty much keeps up with De Gea when it comes to stats if I'm not missing anything.

Added. Oblak is a very good goalkeeper. As for Lloris, he sure does have a good record, but then again, it's much easier to keep a clean sheet for a team like Tottenham than a like Brighton for instance. Also, he has done quite a lot of individual errors, like for France against Sweden for example. Lloris is to me top class, but not world class yet.

Tottenham has a great list of WC players:
Eriksen, Kane, Toby alderweireld, Son, Dembele, Lloris, Alli.
imo, Eriksen is one of the most underrated players in the world.

Carvajal should surely be considered world-class right? He's best RB in the world in the best club in the world. I don't know reasons for including Mascherano, I mean he surely is good centerback and a true leader but imo he is not on level he was few years ago. Wouldn't include him. For Barca ter Stegen could be considered world-class probably after this season. Same could be said for Semedo and Dembele.
Alaba is surely a world-class player but his dip in form isn't looking any promising. Alex Sandro is world-class player too from my point-of-view.
From players that deserve to be in list (quickly): Azpilicueta (way over Mascherano), Casemiro, Insigne, Hamsik...

Lol just because Willian fits into Conte's system does not make him world-class. He is nowhere near the level of Hazard, and Hazard is a true world-class player. Willian would not be able to enter the starting lineup of any of Barca, Bayern, Madrid, PSG, United, etc.

Willian actually had a great time under Mourinho as well and he plays well for Brazil too, prove that he wouldn't fit in Barcelona,Bayern,Madrid,PSG,United you can't!
If anything the attack of PSG is Neymar-Cavani-Mbappe is set in stone and nobody can replace that trio but Willian can walk in any team and get into the first team, he could replace Bale,Martial,Mata,Coman,Dembele easy...

I really don't think he's that good. In the end he doesn't even play in front of Pedro, and isn't huge gamechanger, I think he is overrated because of his freekicks and pace.
EDIT: Willian was seemingly good in 2015/16 because everyone was so shit in Chelsea he seemed good.

The goal Willian scored just recently for Brazil is a type of volley that Dembele, Ribery, Bale, Martial,Rashford either didn't score at all or at least didn't score in the past 2 seasons...I mean Willian has better pace, free kick and finishing than all those players right now. Just like with Matic, that was considered average all this time but suddenly he's seen as world class because he changed to United, people would bash Willian and then he would shut them all up in his first game for any of the teams.
