Giroud is one of the most underrated strikers around but he always respond with his Classy performance on the field, Ramsey shows his strong character and commitment in the big games once again, very good display from the new signings especially Chambers , the ARSENAL is fully loaded and ready to FIRE .. brace your self E.P.L teams here we come :)

Man City is just a team who we have to defeat. Don't have to care that much for this team. LOL

Plaese don't forget all players who sit next to the soccer field. We had Cambell, Rosiky, etc. All of them can change the direction of the game. We have so many players who didn't ready for the Community Shield as well. What I wanna say is we have a very big team this year and ready to fight with any teams in EPL and UCL.

people said giroud is too slow and ineffective as a center striker. but he has the strength to hold off his marker. that goal is example of it. put off his marker just to make enough space for him to take the shot.

Clean goal by Giroud. With no deflection. Its just so hard for these Brits to praise anybody but themselves. There football has always been weak. The only thing backing it is the corrupt Barclays Premier League which apparently is the "best" in the world. Yet very few of these "best players" play outside of England. The national team failures speak for themselves. I speak a few languages but I have never heard commentary as bad as Brits. They speak about what they see nothing more. Very primitive. All the best to this small insignificant island. They have a lot to work on.

The premier league is the best league as in competition and entertainment not the teams you foreigners don't seem to understand our COMPETITION is best NOT the teams. Look at the BPL there are around 4-5 teams competing for the title where as leagues such as la liga only 2 teams compete ( Barca & Real, Atletico wont be a tittle challenger next year ) Bundesliga only Bayern , Seria A onlu Juve and Roma while in BPL there's Arsenal,City,United,Liverpool, chelsea.

Don't even know why there is a debate going on right now. Both teams were given the same options ahead of time, both knew the stakes of this game/final, why is it so hard to credit Arsenal for the win? The 11 they put out on the field looked like they cared way more than the City players, regardless of the name on the back of their kits, the City players (again regardless of the names on the back of their kits) looked like they didn't want to win. Congrats to Arsenal who ran out deserved 3-0 winners. The Community Shield is theirs, and NO ONE can say/do anything about it. Now onto the real season, we shall see what happens next. The final score is all that matters, and by the end of the season the final table will be ALL that matters.

It looks to me as though Woolwich Wanderers have an overly obsessive hatred for Arsenal. He abuses us all day long, and will use lame excuses to try and spoil our victories. Haha, that kid has problems. The fact that we have more trophies and more head to head wins is besides the point.

You would think they won the CL. Hahahahahahahaha. Calm down gooners. By leaving out/not starting players like Aguero, Kompany, Joe Hart, Zabelata, D.Silva and Yaya Toure trusted midfield partner, Fernandinho, it showed Pellegrini was basically trying out the new players in a glorified preseason friendly. LMFAO Please don't come back with your stupid reply posts that you were missing 3 world cup winners. That WAS the best squad you could have possibly put out with the exception of Walnut as I keep repeating. Had you started with snail pace Metersacker or lazy Eyezil, you would have lost.

No Özil, no Mertesacker, no Podolski, no Walcott. Koscielny played 45mins, Sanchez 45mins, Giroud 45mins. We had guy who has born in -95 as a CB (played RB whole last season), and Nacho played 45mins as CB (even though he's LB). Yeah sure Arsenal didn't have 3 new signings who played together (Debuchy, Sanchez, Chambers?) And you think that was first time, seriously? You seriously think that Zuculini, Willy and Fernando haven't played yet this pre season?

I know you have soft spot for Man City, because it's the team you switch to when Chelsea lose and City win a game. You're SHIT loser and a gloryhunter, simple as that. Just gtfo of this page, troll.

Be lucky snail pace Metersachker, Podonkey, or Eyezil didn't start. You would have definitely lost with those three. Only exception is Walcoth. Cullum Chambers rescued you more than 3 times in this match with his pace, Metesacher wouldn't have done that. By the time he takes 1,2, 3 steps towards helping out, City's would have scored, celebrated and gave you the back ball in order for you to restart. Hahahahaha

What a childish fool. All you do is waste your life making names out of footballers like Eyezil, Podonkey etc dont you have a life but to make dull jokes? What an idiot you seriously need to be checked out cos you seem to have a disability or tantrum.

But Man city's highest goal scorer last season was on the pitch right and so also is their highest goal scorer during the pre season games so again did city have less players or arsenal has more. we also missed 3 world cup players, walcut is out and so also is Sagna not in our team and remember Koscielny wasn't playing as well or should i continue. we won fair and square. thank you very much.

Great game from the gunners! I'm impressed! Sanchez was lacking of composure a bit but he played a great part last night. Sanogo needs to work himself to adapt with Wenger's game play. Nonetheless, great show by arsenal's midfields and defenders. City's new additional players need to get their game faces quick. This is how we play in English Premier League!

granted that the Man City team wasn't their strongest, we look very good attacking, just need better finishing as always. Chambers was top class! why did southampton played him as a RB? he look very comfortable for a young and converted CBDebuchy was okay. some little mistakes at the back that could be fatal if it was in a league game, but was very good going forwardAlexis was good. just need some more time to adjust to the pace and tackles of the BPL and develop chemistry with the attacking squad. him and debuchy showed us what a deadly combo this two can be on the right side.overall, great performance. but still we need to get a decent DM. our defence looked rattled after Silva came on
