This should be in place of the video posted here. It is much more fair to both Italy and Korea.
You can see Italy going in extremely deep with tackles, pushing and roughing up players, hitting a Korean player's face (Coco broke his nose and he had to wear a mask for the rest of the tournament), and missing chances.

Totti is seen using elbows, Coco uses breaks a player's nose and keeps on trying extremely deep tackles that don't touch the ball. If you watch the video, you can see that Italian players are given fair foul advantages throughout the game. Even the part where the Korean player is elbowing Del Pierro, if you watch the real highlights, you see that Del Pierro was the one who was pulling on his shirt and the player has a bloody nose..

Italy definitely was the team that was creating aggressive tension throughout the game. Korean players, after their player's nose broke, became tired of Italy's aggressiveness and started to fight back. The video posted on Fotmob deliberately edited only the parts where Korean players fought back. This video should be taken down. It's malicious propaganda against Korean soccer.

Even Totti's Red was caused by a second yellow after a clear dive that even the commentators call out before the ref makes a call. Italy was playing much dirtier than the Koreans, and whoever made this video that was posted on here should be ashamed of himself. Italy was constantly playing extremely rough, and Coco deserved what he got to be honest... He was in the center of aggression throughout the whole game until he was injured.

During overtime, Korea dominated the match because the players had more energy left compared to the Italians. Italy brought this game upon themselves. I hope that they can stop being sore about this loss since they won the World Cup in the following years.

Your statements are an offense to any football fan and to the game itself. Shame on you.

this video is deliberately edited by an Italian to make South Korea look bad. You can easily tell even from the intro. As a person who watched the entire match from start to finish, the refs did make bad calls, but Italy played just as dirty as SK, injuring several South Korean players. It was a fair game, and wrong calls happen. That's football. This South Korean team was actually very good with Guus Hiddink as the manager. Ji Sung Park went on to become one of legends at both PSV and Manchester United. Young Pyo Lee going on to become a regular full back for Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.

I've watched that game live as a kid. No matter how many times I watch the full game again, I see no big problem with both sides playing rough. Referee decisions could've been on our favor but hey, we were the host country back then. If ref decisions like this happened during bigger games like Italy vs Germany or Italy vs Spain, it wouldn't have been controversial at all. Admit it. Some Italians are just butthurt about the fact they lost to weaker team like us trying to find excuses. The only time I admit there was a bribery was during the Spain vs Korea. With all my heart I want to apologize to Spaniards for what has happened during that game. But this one? I am least bit sorry about it :P

No seriously. This is a propoganda video. Plz people, if you're still unsure, try watch the whole f**king game. Italy vs Korea just a rough game pulled out from both. Italy committed almost the same amount of fouls as we did.. Just go check it out and stop behaving like brainwashed airheads. Bribery in Korea vs Italy? Sorry folks but no.

Everyone in the world know how dirty Italian football play is..... I think Korea did well to counteract the dirty plays. However, the ref did make some miscalls but that is part of the soccer, and you know those calls are inevitable if you are a soccer player.

what a disgrace to the WORLD CUP BLACK history..The sucker FIFA(management, refrees etc) and KOREA goverment or Football association scandal.. Felt sorry for italy n spain. Also Japan also handling the same event at the same time, but there is NO such scandal. From there you can see how dirty is korean (who is JAPAN wannabe in each aspect) but we all can see how clean and professional and the clean pure heart the japanese are. RESPECT TO JAPAN
