Juve hasn't been playing desperate lately. Serie A is still one of world's toughest league and they shouldn't take league title to be granted. Very disappointed with their lack of competitiveness.

Why do we repeatedly try and force a terrible one-dimensional 3-5-2, when it clearly doesn't work as good as it used to. 4-3-1-2 shows so much more creativity, and we fail to stay consistent with it. It's so frustrating! 3-5-2 has no creativity. We couldn't complete more than 2-3 consecutive passes. We looked lost. Players like Higuain needs service and touches in the box to be a prolific goal scorer. Dybala needs to play further up the field. I thought he was a midfielder at one point. Please Allegri, stop being so bloody stubborn with the formation. Stay consistent with the 4-3-1-2 so players can develop chemistry. 3-5-2 will fail miserably in Europe as it has been proven already.

3-4-2-1 is the winning formation this season.

there is no link up between higuain and dybala....dybala and mandzukic are a better duo. fiorentina played well, they pressed and didn't allow us to play. i don't understand why pjanic isn't playing. we don't need higuain tbh. he ruins the team dynamic

question mark over buffon's positioning on both goals. But with Roma one point back and Napoli four, it certainly had added a spice to the campaign. Credit to Juve for being top but in my humble opinion, I don't think they've really kicked into gear at all, all season.

So was this performance an average performance or sub par? I was under the impression that Juve were playing well.

Bravo fellows! Bravo! Way to go La Viola! You guys have no idea how much pleasure & happiness you gave me with this (unexpected) victory! And besides that, and achieving such a great win against hated rival, probably the more important thing is that you've helped make the Serie A much more interesting in the following period! You've brought down Juve's 1st place advantage to only a point (OK, they're missing one match, but still), and that's something utterly important and great for everyone who wants to watch a truly competitive football! Not just the ones who want to see Juve off the trone and Napoli or Roma winning the Scudetrto! Again - great game (although Ilicic's 93rd minute miss cut off 10 years off my life), and just keep up the great work!

Actually, Allegri is the one making Serie A much more interesting. I'm ok with losing, but not like this. I wonder if he'll ever get sacked.

sack a manager who's top of the league and has a game in hand?

Yes. When a team plays like that, REGULARLY, then theres a problem. A team that has Players like Higuain & Dybala should play for them, change the formation to suit them. They're just being wasted at Juve tbh. More importantly Juve has always been solid at the back, thats our thing, defending.. which we can't really do now, for some reason. Are you're telling me that being top of Serie A by beating Palermo & Bologna should keep Allegri his job? cos thats how you win the title, not by beating rivals, im sure you already know that. Anyways, this won't be the last time. Mark my words.

Carb_Jr, I feel you, I have the same situation, but when you look at it from the bigger picture, it is not a bad thing at all. I don't also think Higuain is wasted at all.

Allegri has a better title ratio than Wenger as well.

To be honest Juve still looked poor. Fiorentina's midfield were cutting out so many passes
