Should have been 7:1 really. The Saints only stayed in the game because of Forsters incredible performance.

If ManCity thinks about winning anything more than bpl they can't act like they did playing yesterday and playing with Everton at the beginning of the season. They should usually play for 100% and 200% with top teams. Yesterday they proved to themselves they are vulnerable and all the other top teams saw that.

playing mid table teams troubles big teams more often than not, which is evident even in la liga, series a, bundesliga...

Van Dijk after the first goal.. So careless. Hope Liverpool stop calling him World Class!

He was telling him how good he is in 1 vs 1 situations.

I think it was cause he kicked the ball away instead of giving it to city for the throw in.

Otamendi gets no goal from KDB's freekick-assist? and Kevin De Bryune gets the goal instead? It should be KDB: 2 assists, Otamendi: 1 goal. Fpl and sofascore.com also got it wrong... lol the video clearly shows Otamendi redirecting KDB's pass into the goal...

It was Van Dijk who got the touch I think but since the initial ball was on target its De Bruynes goal.

@T1lt3d, Yeah, didnt notice at first, you're right, it is difficult to see but Van Dijk redirected De Bruyne's ball. After that, the ball narrowly escapes Otamendi's foot. Thanks.

What a finish by Sterling.. Disgusted by the result but City have that determination to try and score till the very end like Fergie always did with United. They are the most dangerous when there are only minutes left on the clock and they need to score that goal. Damn

This game showed why this city team is not at the level of peps Barca. They tried to force too many passes against an 11 behind the ball team. Fair play in the end though as sterling decided not to cross the ball and worked a better opening. That was very Barca like

Bro if you watched the game I thought they were taking too many long shots and also a class performance from Forster was the only reason they didn't score at least 4 goals.

Feels like a FIFA moment when the opposition scores a last minute goal and wins the game

I am just so over the moon about this win, not just because of the crucial 3 points but more so because of Southampton and their play style, especially Forster. They were time wasting the whole game along, especially Forster. I could understand it if it was the last 10 minutes of the game or so and the result was in their favour , but not the first half ffs. It was really really annoying at times. The 5 minutes of added time felt like short, given the amount of minutes Forster wasted during his kick-offs !!

Agreed. The ref legit had to tell Forster to hurry up with the goal kick on multiple occasions in the first half. He also booted the ball into the stands instead of giving to de Bruyne for the corner at the end of the first half which wasted time and ruined the momentum and somehow didn't get booked.
