The next messi is a Liverpool player and a childhood Liverpool fan. FSG need to build on this starting with a super-contract for the King that wards off suiters. If they sell, they wont just lose the player of the year...they will lose fans.

@Solzzz He refused to shake hands with Israelis, involving politics with football.

@AmitPwnz I believe fist-pump was good enough and probably the best thing he can do. He didn't disrespect Maccabi Tel Aviv but at the same time he didn't want to show the world that he agrees with the occupation. Also not to mention that Israel also invaded Egypt in 1967 and one can not easily forget that.

@Solzzz Not shaking hands is disrespectful in every possible way and unsportsmanlike. Politics should never be involved with sports, and remembering the peace between Israel and Egypt I would expect an Egyptian to act there's one.
P.S: Need I remind you that Egypt invaded Israel in 1948 and in 1973?

@AmitPwnz "Politics should never be involved with sports" what about your profile picture? it says otherwise.

Anyhow I hope you do not take Salah's act as disrespect. You do not have to be his biggest fan but you gotta acknowledge his progress as a player, currently ruling England while maintaining his humble attitude.

P.S. in 1973 Egypt invaded Sinai (Egyptian land) to take it back from Israeli occupation.

@Solzzz being a fan and being on the pitch is 2 entirely different things, especially as the players are role models too. Also, the sign in my profile pic is positive, so there's nothing wrong about it.

I'm happy for him for having such a great season, but I won't forget his act. I do think it's disrespectful and hope he's matured since then.

P.S: Israel returned the area in one condition: a peace agreement. Same could be achieved for Palestine if only the Palestinians recognized Israel as a Jewish state.

Take nothing away from Liverpool, it was a domination, but Watfords GK was so bad. Why didn't they start Gomes?

A couple of years ago I wondered what a man with his pace and his ability to run into space would do when he figured out how to score consistently. Now I know. Seems like a lovely man too.

Salah is competing in goals with the best goal scorers in the WORLD. He even has more goals than Messi (for now at least). That is just crazy! Great job Salah!
