Fatih Terim basically had a bust up at a restaurant this summer which reportedly had him and his crew roughed up amd eventually he left his post at the national team( The FA brought in Lucescu who sucked ass).
As I mentioned, he is the most successful Turkish coach by far and at some point, I think after managing AC Milan and Fiorentina he started to act a certain way which put a lot of people off. Even though he does deserve some credit for 70% of the milestones in Turkish footballr the Turkish public does not like him.
Basaksehir is pretty simply a government team. They have enjoyed enormous support from the officials when needed and pretty much every team hates them because they are a "made team" so to speak. No history, supporters or culture.
Quality squad too with exciting foreign names like Clichy, Adebayor, Elia, Inler and Visca.
Also, whereas I hated his character pre-beating (Turks will know what I mean) one has to admit that this man finally overcame his ego and became humbler despite being the most successful Turkish coach of all time.
Congratulations to Fenerbahce and Besiktas for an amazing season too, fuck Basaksehir and their government cronies.
