The 2nd goal should have been awarded without a penalty. and like Always Sergio Ramos hits our players and then complains about getting red cards , he was lucky that wasn't a red card but proves his bs to everyone , acting like the victim .I wish they showed it in detail here. elbow slaps him for no reason except his frustration like usual

it was a ref effort to save madrid face, he hopes that navas could defend it.....

Any foul in the box will almost always be called as a penalty, I do not think a ref can wave play-on for a foul in the box and also card a player after the goal. The play has to be stopped and a penalty awarded, especially for the foul Carvajal committed, it was a blatant foul done on purpose which he needs to get a red card for. Maybe if it was a trip or something then the ref will ignore it... But again I do not think a ref can penalize a defending player for a foul in the box after a goal is given. However I may be wrong.

The mouth punch by Ramos was clearly a red. As I said before, Ramos is a reliable liability.

Some thoughts after the game:
The most important thing it seems that Valverde succeeded at changing Barca's mentality. The players have to understand that they are not the almighty Barca that they used to be 5 years ago, and they cannot just dominate their opponent the whole 90 minutes. They are playing much more patiently and carefully this days, and pay much more attention to their defense. As for the El-Classico game.... the game was very balanced and could go either way. It was weird though the easiness with which Barca scored the first 2 goals. The first goal looks like total Carvajal fault for failing to backtrack and cover Suarez, but I think the real fault is on Marcelo. It was his slow backtracking that allowed Barca players to go 3 on 2 attack and create space for Suarez goal.

So for me the first goal is mostly Marcelo fault.
The second goal Carvajal looked to be again caught out of his position, but I would blame more Varane here than Carvajal. Varane was covering Suarez, and for some reason decided to leave him and go more to the center to meet the incoming Pique, even though Ramos was free and could do that by himself. By doing that Varane left Suarez all by himself which led to the second goal.
So for me the blame is not on Carvajal, but more on the whole Real team and their sloppy defending.

Glad to see Messi performing so well, he set like 5 times his teammates one on one with Navas, great vision and passing by Messi.
Ronaldo also had a great game, even though he didn't score. U could see that Barca defenders were afraid of him and his runs were very dangerous.

the first goal Barca goal was similar to the goal Espanyol scored on Atletico Madrid, should call it a Catalonia blueprint from now on

Just so you know, that goal scoring triangle is taught in practically every football school belonging to major teams. So all those major teams score goals like that.

that's true, but it was interesting to see both Catalonia teams doing that against both Madrid teams

Messi was the mastermind. He knew he was being man-marked by Cosavich or whatever his name is and pull away on the counter attack and opened the space for Raketich who basically walked straight to the goal... Barca played as a team with two real stars whereas Madrid played without a plan with bunch of stars.

Shit ref for giving a Penalty. It should be red card for Carvajal but give Barca the goal since the ball still went in. If the ball goes in you couldn't bring play back because its unfair to Barca if they score goal but it doesn't count and they miss the Penalty its basically like a robbed goal.

T1il3d is absolutely right. The problem there was Referee was quite instantaneous and blew the whistle as soon as Carvajal handled the ball. If the ref waited for a second or two the goal would be counted in favour of Paulinho.

PS: What the hell is wrong with reply function?
