83% Ronaldo MOTM? Cmon man. He increased his goals for the season by 50% this match but still, he was not motm.

Bale scores the critical second goal. But instead of running over to celebrate with his teammate, Ronaldo just cries to the ref for a penalty.

So, RM is like what, some 63 points behind Barca? The fight for that fifth place in the final standings will be epic!

Why are you surprised? It's Cuntiano Ronaldo after all; the rest of the team are irrelevant.

Painful to watch this as a Depor fan. Like it was 2-1 till 55th minute and then..

Good to see Modric and Kroos back again

Hopefully, this boost moral a bit but to be fair, I think most Real fan would like to have their team win 3 match with 3-1 or 2-1 results rather than a single game by a 5 or 6 goal margin.

I agree, and after 4-1 they should have had given chances to Asensio. What happened to Zidan and him?

That moment when a defender Nacho Fernandez scores 2 goals and a striker Benzema not scoring 1 or an assist. Coming from the bench now a days when he use to be a trusting starting 11 striker. I fear Big Benz's RM career.

Honestly, Benzema has not helped his case much prior to becoming a bench-warmer, even in this game where Depor kinda gave up defending in the second half. He's been dreadful for a long time and has started more games than he should have considering more hungry youngsters like Asensio, Vasquez, or Mayoral having shown more than he did recently.

I wonder why Zidane doesn't play Asensio more. Benching him as much as Zidane does is a big waste of talent. He must play more or he will lose him.

He wont lose asensio, his release clause is more than twice as neymar's. But i agree he is a waste of talent to sit on bench

Doesnt matter what the release clause is. You dont want unhappy players that want to leave... and risk becoming stagnant in his development

I think Zidane wanted to use the momentum to boost BBC's morale after not playing together for so long and currently on a bad run. Plus Asensio played a full game vs Numancia

@outlaw Dont want to be that guy but Bale scored when it mattered, not when the tie was already dead. Bale had a far better game than Cristiano.

But apparently that is only the case when PSG plays. Same results elsewhere and they all praise the winning team smh

He says so being ironic (the irony is in "as they say")... because thats the typical comment when PSG wins big. Like last game. Seems as if its ok to heckle PSG with "farmers league"... but not other teams.

Ronaldo played great. Give credit where credit is due, and stop focusing on things in life that don't really matter.

Modric scores and passes by CR7 without celebrating with him (even if he did the pass). Having the best striker and the best midfielder of the team in such bad terms is bad ...

I don't think they are in bad terms. Ronaldo was really nice towards Modrić after Euro 2016 match. It was already 4-1 when Modrić scored.

They're not in bad terms. It was already 4-1 when Modrić scored, why would you celebrate 4-1 against Deportivo? Maybe first two or three goals, but after that you really don't need to celebrate.

You right, Bale and Isco doesn't seem to like him as well, Ronaldo isn't really easy to like because of his ego, and blaming all the others but himself when the things go wrong. There were actually 2 people in Real who did like him Marcelo and Pepe

he would have been par with neymar and one of the top player hadn't been his injuries that held him back.
