How easy is the CONCACAF qualification rounds if this Honduras team has made it all the way to the inter-continental playoff?!?!

Yeah mate, but the difference is that Italy played in the formidable group and faced tough Sweden and yet the USA couldn't beat countries that don't even have a proper football ground to play on.

I hope in the next World Cup in 2022, European teams will get 16 slots, South America teams will get 6 slots, Asia 3 slots, Africa 5 slots, Concacaf 2 slots only. Cause we really need a lot of quality teams in the World Cup.

The first penalty was a gift of the ref though. It needs to be intentional and he's not playing it deliberately with his hand. Ball would have gone astray anyways...

i think you need to know about the rules about handball, its a handball if the hand is in an unnatural position as well (its still up to the ref to interpret whatever way he thinks) but his hand just above his boot is a handball. also about your second point about the ball going astray; have you not seen the penalties given in corners when someone was pulling the shirt or something of someone who wasnt near the ball? your point is irrelevant.

Even if he did not, which being biased I think he meant to, I think you missed the part where the arm was in an unnatural position.

Ghost goal saved Panamá! Honduras would've qualified directly had not been for that ghost goal.

not making it in the world cup is not making it in the world cup, no excuses. My team didn't make it to the world cup and I am not going to say if we were in Africa or Asia we would have made it. A loss is a loss. Yeah we messed up but atleast I dont go around saying my country is great like English people who are going to lose in Round 16 if not the group stages and then cry and blame the media or blame anything really. Last world cup we had a tougher group then England and we made it out and the one before that one we were in the same group and we came out on top.

If you were in Africa you would be knocked out of the first qualification round. In Asia, you won't stand a chance against Japan, South Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
No excuses! Italy could have qualified same as Chile and USA but they all wasted their early chances and waited to be saved. World Cup = first come, first serve!

Hardly a hat-trick. Far from it actually. I really dont see the Socceroos place in Russia next year but I respect your association's decision to move to AFC for an easy ticket to the WC. A very wise choice indeed.

@sir_frank A hat-trick is a hat-trick. Wasn't our decision to be put in the AFC. We've made it in the last 3 and one wasn't even part of the AFC. See you in Russia

You are a disgrace, just be quiet.
Australia moved to AFC for more competition. If it was easy as you say, they would not have played the Inter-Confederation playoff. Just use your logic before you talk

@sir_Frank Disagree with u. Australia have often participated in inter-tournament competitions even before they move to AFC. It is not as easy as u thought. If it is that easy, why did they have to play play-off matches to go to Russia.
