France will never win WC with Deschamps.
How can Giroud > Lacazette and Benzema? I can imagine benzema play alongside griezmann and mbappe, open the space for them. Like what he did for CR7 and Bale. But Deschamps is an arrogant coach, France need Zidae to replace him.
France tried too much to come through the center of a 10 player defense when their most dangerous chances came from the wings, and they had too many wtf moments: Sidibe and Lloris on the USA goal, missed clearances, soft passes. Compared to other matches, they almost looked tired, hopefully because of intense WC preparation.

Should've been a 4-0 cakewalk, but France created a handful of good chances, only one of which was converted. Not good enough by a long shot.
If I were a French fan, I'd be a little concerned.
The guys up front were also totally out of their game in terms of missed passes, controls etc. I think the raise in intensity next week will be enough to wake them up a little bit. I'm not too concerned.
