Dembele is so impressive. He is one of the most under rated player in football. Clearly the best player on the pitch this night !

if only Higuain scored these 4 goals in the first half . but he missed 2 open goals , one where he dribbled two spurs defenders and somehow shoot wide left and the penalty. Makes me remember the world cup

Not many teams dominate Juve. Btw, they asked who is the hardest player to train with @ Spurs. Eriksen, Kane, Alli all said Dembele near impossiblee to get the ball off him. Imagine if he was playing as CAM.

Mousa Dembele is by far the most gifted player on the pitch... His spurs teammates know it but sadly he always goes under the radar :(

We reward goal scorers and people with skills more since they are more 'exciting'. If we see an excellent player get tackled we may think the player is terrible or should have passed, or maybe we could see it as the defender being incredible, but we don't. I think people's football knowledge need to be upgraded and appreciative of the game more, then players like Dembele will be given higher praise. Because he was incredible against Juve and is an incredible player in general.

What a sad night. We could have done better. Early 2 goals must have had our players to play loose. At the same time, credits for Tottenham for putting an end to our clean sheet record :P

not worried about the 2nd leg, juve is not that easy to beat, not even with the sweaty defensive and time-wasting style spurs were playing after their second goal.

That's probably exactly the same what Juve was thinking about the 1st leg. Good luck with that. It's the next Monaco, BVB, Porto-type team which is underestimated

Possibly the most stupid comment on this entire site. Did you watch the game? Spurs took it to Juve. More shots and more possession. Youre a Juve fan and youre talking about another team being overly defensive. Dont be a hypocrite. I love Juve i think they are an awesome side, but spurs played very well against them tonight especially to come back from 2 goals down.

Juve would have time wasted too. An away goal makes the biggest difference. Spurs have the advantage and are strong at Wembley. Juve may not be an easy team to beat, but Spurs don't need to beat Juve. A 0-0 or 1-1 draw would mean they go through. Spurs dominated Juve like a mid table EPL team that game, after 10-20 mins of the game and the terrible mistakes from Spurs, they forced most your team to practically park the bus in a narrow midfield. Spurs tactically abused Juve's system, Poch had it down. The second leg is poised to be incredible!

Douglas Costa is a tough matchup for anybody. With Aurier suspended for the 2nd leg, I'm concerned about the matchup of Costa and Trippier. Aurier is unreliable, but it shows that Poch left him on for the whole 2nd half despite getting the early yellow card, in favor of Trippier.

Dembele was unbelievable. I think in his short cameo, Moura looked quick and tricky.

I actually would assume Poch let Aurier see out the match so as not to waste the legs of the man who will be starting in the return leg.

I think the only one creating was Costa and that's the main threat, especially with tall characters like Mandz and Hig in the box. It may take individual brilliance sometimes to win a game and Costa can do it, however Costa has been known to not have a "footballing brain" and can make bad decisions when delivering a ball. Lucas looked great and positive trying to run through the middle many times, adds a new dynamic to your attack.

The return of Victor Wanyama has a similar effect for Spurs. He is finally reaching full fitness.
Wanyama and Dembele form a great partnership.

You're right, Juve made mistakes yesterday, but Allegri has played without his bench, Juve'll be much stronger in London with Matuidi and Dybala, these 2 guys are extremely important on their positions

because they keep their best player and talents except Kyle walker move to City, which easily been replaced with Tripier and Aurier.

Yeah Poch has done incredibly well with this side, of not huge bought stars. No insane purchases. Smart purchases and the team have incredible chemistry, they play fun football too which is great for us spectators. They don't rely on fast wingers too so their build up play is incredible. It would be interesting to see a big name be bought since I think Poch will stick to his game plan instead of adapting the team to a certain player.

i always wonder why Barca or other big team dont chase midfielder like Eriksen Dembele (mousa) or De Bruyne instead they targeting CAM Coutinho then keep targeting Liverpool best players, Eriksen was liverpool target before being hijacked by spurs in 2012, we all know he better cause Coutinho only 2nd choice, which player not same position as Iniesta anyway, Coutinho never able to play deep CM position in Liverpool, and only 1-2 times in season Klopp or Rodgers ever put him in CM position, De bruyne also CAM but he can play CM because he can defend but Coutinho never been good in CM, like putting Isco/Assensio at Modric or Kroos position, and Barca put him at RW ? what a joke.

yeah i watch him play so horribly, he holding ball so messi feel upset and the team not play good when he hold the ball, Barcelona bought him at the first place to replace Iniesta but turns up not same player or position, then he only 2nd or 3rd choice bench warmer, just like steve mcmanaman in the past, why dont Barca target other world class CM ? instead keep targeting liverpool CAM with overprice tag, Coutinho cant replace Neymar nor Iniesta because hes not at both position, i just dont understand, they can even use the money for proper CM like Verratti or Thiago, instead they stop chasing Verratti after selling Neymar and chase Coutinho .

what the hell are you even saying? Coutinho was arguably your best player before Salah's run. His role is to fill Iniesta's position not completely replace him. If you know anything about Barcelona as a club, you'd know that we pick players for certain attributes and use them in a way to complete our style and bring new features as well. Rakitic did not replace xavi but he did fill in his position. Same with Coutinho. Coutinho can shoot and score from outside the box which no one in Barcelona really does and he has vision, skill just like Iniesta does. We bought him in the winter to get intergrated into the team before the new season starts, so he doesn't get thrown right in during June. . Eriksen is a good player but just like Scandinavian football, they play fast like the english.

U miss few points, Rakitic is CM sometimes CAM in sevilla that's why he can fill CM Xavi place, but Coutinho is not CM, never good in it, he don't have good defending attributes to fill iniesta place, other point is Coutinho need change his play style just like D villa zlatan fabregas sanchez did in the past to play around Messi, only David villa success with it, other were sold, Coutinho need to either train hard as CM or left winger who run behind defender or Messi change his play style and cost the whole team (which never happen) .....
