Once again Arsenal were over-elaborate. Just passing the ball around, creating nothing really. Was watching this on BT Sport and I heard the commentator say on 3 occasions that Arsenal were the better team in this match. Ridiculous statement, Atletico not only looked in control the whole time but also were the one who had the clear cut chances to score. Even though for me they'd already lost the tie at home, I was expecting more from Arsenal in this match. Disappointing. Feel bad for Wenger. Atletico thoroughly deserve to go through.

I knew as soon as we conceded that goal last week that were not gonna get to the final. Props to Atlético, they were defensively incredible as usual.

Now I know what it felt like for Arsenal fan, after this match.

Congratulation for the solid Aletico. They deserved it.

I thought Arsenal's mentality is the true downfall, no urgency in nearly 80 minutes of the game. Arsenal defending game is just poor, very poor. Lacazate, Welbeck and Ozil are the only three players that are actually performed well in this game. However, Arsenal's midfield is very poor, the way Ramsey, Xhaka and Wilshere play is utterly weak, no run, no dribble, poor awareness. And come on, why don't you take a few more long shots as Arsenal do have players are excel at long shot. All around, the only thing Arsenal is better is ball possession, but most of them are side and back passes! That's not the way they played soccer! Where is the one-touch soccer?

Like usual, arsenal always has terrible defending. Wenger made everything complicated. He had to learn to mourinho about compact defense.

I think Arsenal will bounce back next season. Theyve needed change for a long time. Wenger has been holding on for too long and has tainted his legacy somewhat. But a manager with some fresh ideas and some fresh faces could be the catalyst to turn their fortunes around.

No one, only the team that were crowned champions of the Europa League gets automatic qualification to UCL in the next season.

@kenkichio @michael_jordan I thought it would have gone to the runners up. And you skip the qualifiers if you get it. Catastrophe for Arsenal.

Well he wasn't good enough for Real Madrid, that's why they sold him. A very good choice, he hasn't been doing anything since the season he won the assist league in PL. A very very overrated player.

I said wenger is overrated and he would be sacked in less than half of season if he managed big clubs, and one stupid moderator deleted my comment(I'm not saying all moderators are so). I've never said any swear words on the page and I just expressed my opinion, but he violated my freedom of speech. I don't know who did that, but anyhow, this match seems to prove I'm right, eh? How does this taste like? I sincerely hope FootyRoom think carefully before assigning someone to their moderator next time.

Yeah mate, I'd love to be a moderator on this site. But at the same time I can't stand the 12-16 year olds commenting. I think I may move on to another more mature site.

Thanks mate.Everyone on here gets so mad if I comment about other teams. I know for a fact that most people on here just root for whichever "big team" they like the most, but 99% don't even have ties to them. Im duel citizen and half my family is Juve fanatics, the other Torino. 9 out pf 10 people just comment to get likes and be a troll. Its sad really. I like facts, logic and reason. If Juve, AC Milan, or Barca or whoever win fairly then I congratulate them, and if they win unfairly for some reason I'll hold their feet to the fire as well. Just tired of the everyone rooting for the big teams. I like the midtable to small club fans because they really understand whats its like to go through bad times as a fan. Cheers mate.

@FrenchKiss Saying a long time servant like Wenger is overrated, is not only a lack of respect considering recent event but above all else, its can be seen as taunting toward Arsenal fan. Never forget you freedom of speech exist only as long as it doesn't step over that of other user. Beside, you sadly made a reputation of making negative comment on Arsenal page for no obvious reason (as a Juventus fan, I don't get why you seem to care so much and be so negative).

@CuoreGranada If you would really like to be moderator, then the best step would be to get known by the rest of the moderator team, sadly, since you never go on the forum, like I had recomended you to do so long ago (we could use an user like you there), its a bit complicated for them to get to know you. :(

Frenchkiss you are totally right... it has nothing to do with respect, Wenger is just bad... I’m absolutely sure the team would play exactly the same if it was coachless
The thing I can’t understand is why there is people that can’t see this... he is very nice and educated ok... but a complete disaster when the purpose is to win a game...

@Emobot7, I appreciate it but I find it to be a waste of time for the reason I stated above regarding how most people are so set in their ways and vicious when they hear something they do not agree with. Again, free speech is free speech even if FrenchKiss or whoever else says something that provokes someone else. ((although I'll admit I don't know FrenchKisses history of commentating )) It should be the recipients job to conduct his behavior better and to have a calm discussion, not a war of words and witty phrases....but sadly this is the world we live in. I appreciate your advice and I may take it into account for forums.
Cheers.

Also....the respect part about Wenger. You have to earn respect, just because he's been the manager at the club for 20 years of so does not mean anything if he hasn't won anything. It's not describing all Arsenal fans as negative or anything like that. Its simply "merit over entitlement". If he was at any other "big club" in Europe he wouldn't have lasted 4-5 seasons. Overrated in Europe, and terribly inconsistent in the league. I do not have a problem with Arsenal, these are just some facts.

@Emobot7 it was just my opinion and I think freedom of speech can be preserved only when negative opinions are also accepted. Some arsenal fans whined on referee issues of Juventus on the pages of Real vs Juve and Inter vs Juve, which were so unfair and insolent, but I didn't get mad on those nonsense comments while none of the moderators took an action and pointed them out even once. But if the moderator deleted my comment because he considered it disrespectful, then I think I should follow it. Thank you for your replies.

HAHA this Aubameyang kid is delusional. The goal was not a foul, Bellerin is just too weak. Atletico created more chances and they were much better last night, they deserve this win. And if Arsenal can't win with eleven men against 10 at home they have no place in a final.
