Marcos Alonso racks up another assist. That guy is hitting some serious stats already this season, should have him in my fantasy football team.

So this is the new Chelsea guru sarri , that makes his italian boy jorginho play in the position of the Boss Kante. Ridiculous

Don't you think that Chelsea's attack is too left sided? I'm afraid that when we go against top tier team, they will focus their defending on the left side and also attack thru the left side since Alonso is overlapping and he doesn't have enough pace to chase a speedster opponent.

You're one of the only Chelsea fans I've seen who sees the same problems I do. Having possession all the time is cool but we are not dangerous enough. There isn't enough goals in this team. Our attacks are coming from the left, Hazard obviously and Alonso of late, and the defence is worriying. David Luiz is brilliant with the ball but got caught out twice today. Rudiger is a solid defender but needs to watch his temper and altough I love Alonso, he is an easy target coz of his lack of speed since we're playing a high defensive line.

The International break couldn't have come at a better time. There's a lot that needs improving but for now I'm happy with the four wins. I don't see us challenging this season but top 4 is a must and hopefully another FA Cup win.

Obviously! But I'm talking about our realistic targets this season. Winning the title this season would be a dream scenario, but don't get your hopes up is what I'm saying.

The real problem is David Luiz keeps getting caught out! He doesnt have Kante covering for him anymore. Alonso has the license to keep bombing forward because Jorginho and Kovacic are providing cover for him when he starts moving up.

If you watch closely the defensive lapses of every game so far, when opponents attack on the left (opponent's right) side, its always David Luiz and sometimes Rudiger getting caught out by a runner from a cut-back or cross. We will have no problem with this if the CBs stay focused on the runners and makes sure to deny any goal-scoring chance. My opinion anyway haha

I have not seen chelsea play so good football since Ancelotti i am very happy, our only problem is our striker...

Remember you win CL with Torres, and France win WC with Giroud. Mediocre striker is not a problem, if the whole team fit the strategy.

@theMarvelous
I agree. A decent striker is important and can carry a team, in fact Diego Costa did that with us on a few occasions in our title winning 16/17 campaign. however, what the team have shown is so far is that the wide players (and full back!) are capable of scoring regularly enough so far so the team is not relying on a striker to bang in a goal in every game. I think particularly with morata he is better with the build up play, so we shouldn't be so worried about him not getting 20 plus goals a season.

If chelsea can keep their keyplayers healthy and in good form... then this team is going to be more than serious contender for the title. Hazard may very well end up as the mvp of EPL

For the entirety of the game, I don't think I saw a single misplaced pass, an unsuccessful dribble or giving away of possession on Hazard's part. An almost spotless performance. Bournemouth couldn't get anywhere near him.

We gave them no choice but to called men back as we keep the ball well these days with Jorginho and Kovacic in our midfield ! Bournemouth normally don’t play like that

Important we got a clean sheet after moments of shaky defending recently. Good solid performance from the lads.

Kovacic looked really good today, bar a couple of fouls.
Rubey looked strong when he came on too.

Our midfield is looking strong - has anyone even noticed that Fabregas has been injured?

Yes I have and I cannot wait until he comes back. He is an offensive impulse I feel we're lacking at the moment.
I have yet to see anyone of our players play a good final trough ball on more than one occasion.
