What a goal to lose by when you played so well in one of the toughest grounds in England. Tough luck for Everton.

Liverpoo will not finish in the top 4 cos they lack quality in every department and are overrated...….their luck will run out sooner rather than later - mark my words!

You put your faith in English keepers at your peril. Sooner or later, they'll cost you.

Football still can amaze the crap out of someone. Amazing how Van Dijk kicks it terribly, the dude starts to run back, unbeknownst to him that it was going to hit the post.

You can't blame Pickford for that. VVD just sliced the ball which means there was a lot of backspin on it. So when it hit the crossbar it was expected to go out but because of the backspin it hits the crossbar a second time and rolls back into the pitch. As a relatively short keeper, there was nothing Pickford could have done to prevent that.

crossbar is not flat surface, ball could return back and he should make sure this will not happen (punch ball over the crossbar or something...), totally GK mistake. maybe lost of concentration as he thought that ball will go out and it will be end of the game.
i guess this is the curse of english GKs to make stupid mistakes in important matches.

although it had a lot of backspin but pickford's hand is leaning inward and save the ball, totally GK mistake. but thank you very much

Then again, say he decides to play it safe and pushes it over the bar instead of trying to catch. If Liverpool score from the corner everyone would say "Why didn't he catch it such an easy catch"

see VVD’s commanding the last freekick asking Alisson to pass to Trent, leader!

It's not called commanding it, its called common game sense which Alison lacked. Lol

Greatest come back ever for Divock. this was a real derby. both teams deserved to win. definitely not a lucky win but a superb match true to its promises. Salah is MOTM for me for his assists but mane and shaqiri could not finish and kill the match right from the begining.

Alison > DDG .
Makes far less number of mistakes than DDG.
People presume that they will be considered smart if they are to call Some player overrated.

obviously, alisson>ederson>de gea>courtois>pickford, but is the same level with navas. navas is great, but sometimes his defensive teammate lack of concentration makes him look bad. and yes, he play in the same league with messi.

Lol Liverpool fans had no clue who Alison was 2 seasons ago now calling him the best in the world. Of course hes one of the best GK's in the world, but he is overrated imo. Obviously Liverpool fans won't agree but whatever. Also, whether or not he is better than Ederson has nothing to do with what I said.

Ederson has much better distribution and kicking/throwing, and I think both are about the same at saving shots (both world class) but Allison is better at decisions, which is evident when Ederson rushes 30m out of his goal like he did vs Liverpool last season or when he gave the penalty away against United this season. Then again, Alison had his failed dribble goal this season too.
