Godamn I'm happy to see Fernandinho seemed to survive that challenge... He's just back no?... Don't care which team, when one team is outclassing another and one baboon defender decides to lunge despite a being 2 goals behind 5 minutes to the whistle it really pisses me off. FFS I think there should be harsher punishments than a red card. Tired of this "it's a man's sport, shit happens" attitude. These types of challenges should be eliminated, and use VAR to help decide which red card offenses deserve further punishment for sheer stupidity, rather than only fighting or whatever they give suspensions for.

Completely agree on that but they should also punish divers. Remember Isco's red card on kick at Neymar? That was frustration and anger towards his acting.

Man City v Liverpool is going to be a title-decider game. It will be like gaining 6 points for the winner.

Zinchenko made a mistake, but he made an assist too. Agree with Pep that he was one of the best players on the pitch tonight.

Silva and Mahrez back in the starting 11. Finally Pep woke up.

I think city will beat Liverpool to take revenge of last year’s undefeated run that stopped in Anfield, and now City will do the same at Etihad.

It would be really easy to bash City defense because seems like they never able to keep clean sheets, but honestly if you look at all the goals starting from Palace defeat, they're either just individual errors or wondergoals from the other team that no defense could stop. Today's goal was also from an individual error.

Stop defending City like it’s your team. They’re conceding goals because they’re defending poorly, whether they’re individual or collective errors.

Some of them aren't even mistakes tbh. Like the first 2 goals vs Palace or the winner vs Leicester, those are just superb goals that no defense could stop. Zinchenko's mistake was disappointing but I really don't understand how Pep didn't buy another left back this summer, and probably won't in Jan. Mendy is our only left back and he can't stay fit for his life, and everyone else we put there like Delph or Zinchenko has been a liability. Delph worked well at LB last season but now teams know how to exploit him as a weakness.

Because FFP was abused and violated by City to the max and beyond. He spent money for 10 transfer windows mate. Because of the recent heat that was brought by those actions that is why Pep is not buying or replacing the LB position with a world class talent or player.

Wanna prove that claim? So many salty fans repeating this lie. Also, City bought Mahrez, when I think they didn't really need him, should have spend that money on a LB instead.

"Obvious" accusing a club of a crime that would probably send their owners to jail and ban them from competitions as a whole if it were true. That's not obvious. Thats a lie, unless you can somehow prove it when noone else was able to.

Thing is we're only half way into the season. Arsenal under wenger many times were doing incredibly well and then soon as the new year hits they start to decline. Injuries and busier schedules with cup games can change drastically. For all we know City and Liverpool may suddenly slow up and lose a couple games and allow Spurs and Chelsea back into the title race. I don't see Liverpool slowing up and I think the recent City setbacks aren't too bad, but one thing is for sure... This title race is incredibly tense!

If Manchester City lose to Liverpool, then its a 10 point gap and I think at that point it over unless City don't drop any more points the rest of the season, or Liverpool REALLY bottle it.

If City win, its a 4 point gap and then the pressure is back on Liverpool.
