that tackle was clean... Nothing he could do, Boly got the ball first and Bernardo was late and followed through... That's why VAR is very useful in these kind of situation.

Sometimes it's even hard to beat Barça, City or Juve with 11 men against 10! So I agree.

Kompany is dirty player, after he tackle like that he didnt even apologize, instead he called Salah 'P*ssy' word, here why Kompany should have sent off-

-He completely miss the ball.
-His foot so high at Salah's knee.
-He was the last defender.
-He get panic after his teammates passing mistake.
-He denied clear goal-scoring opportunity for his opponent.
-He use two legs on the process.

its remind me how Casemiro and Ramos make dirty WWE tackle the whole 90 minutes and somehow the ref never dare to give them 2nd yellow, but easily gave their opponent straight red or 2nd yellow.

this was pure red card, but it has nothing to do with being decisive. just bring the var already.

I think if this moments are missed they should be punished later on with red or yellow or ban if referee missed it . Just like they go back and review misconduct and ban players. These sort of tackles should be on top of the list. Otherwise, we should decide that whatever goes unpunished on the pitch stays on the pitch.

Stop crying you idiot. That pic makes it look bad but if you look at the clip of the whole tackle, Kompany clearly gets the ball before any contact was made, so that immediately takes "goal scoring opportunity" out of the equation. The only reason it was even a foul was because malicious follow-though, but not bad enough to warrant a red card. Yellow was the right call.

I agree, in this game Boly should have also gotten yellow, not red. But either way, City were already leading when that happened so its very unlikely the red card made any impact on the result.

Anyway, Liverpool have gotten a shit ton of calls in their favor in both the PL and UCL in the last 2 seasons, so stop complaining.

Your team broke that team's transfer record by a big margin with VVD and Alisson, plus you have Mane, Salah and Firmino. Just saying.

You cant compare Pre PSG-Neymar things to after it, the 300 million that Liverpool spent is equal to 150-180 to what City spent, and the most importantly Liverpool did lose 3 of their best player (Suarez, Sterling, Coutinho), City never realy lose anyone that they realy needed plus City spend way more, imagine City selling De bruyne ,Aguero ,David silva because they want to buy Laporte ,Stones ,Sterling, Walker, Jesus, Bernardo silva.

name any club in England who keep lose their best player and still doing great.

van dijk tackle was clean at the first place, before he lose balance and hit mertens leg, but kompany ? last defender, denied goal scoring chance, using two leg, try to recover from mistake ...

Kompany's tackle vs Liverpool was no way a red. Won the ball and clipped on the follow through. Same thing here. It should have been yellow, not red for Boly.

However, last both last season in the FA cup and this season in the PL, Delph got sent off stupidly as well. In the FA cup, it was the same thing, won the ball and collided with the follow though, should have been a yellow.
In the PL game, it wasn't even a foul at all, he kicked the ball and then slipped as he kicked it and accidentally made minor contact.

Conclusion. PL needs VAR. This is complete shit.

he dont win the ball at all, it was Salah who kick the ball to him so he can jump to save his leg and avoid that career ending challenge, consider ref call that foul thats mean he dont think Salah were diving or Kompany make a clean tackle, instead straight red he gave only yellow because liverpool players dont cry and run to ref and give pressure to ref like City player did last year on Mane red card.

"van dijk tackle was clean at the first place" lmao, yeah, every tackle he makes is clean and every tackle on Salah or Mane is red card or penalty, according to Liverpool fans.

Right under the praise talking about impartiality, all fanboys blurt out their opinionated comments. Wtf are you discussing mates? The point was that either none of these really deserve a red card, or all three do. There's a lack of standards. T1lt3d I agree though, VAR would be nice, yes.

Exactly, constant favouritism from the referees for City and Sterling's diving is getting tedious now..

Favoritism? You know in the opposite fixture Boly (same player who got red card here) scored a blatant handball goal that the refs allowed and it gave Wolves a draw?

Van dijk's tackle was different and fair because he didnt go in with his studs. Mertens couldve jumped as he never had the ball in his possession

It's a clear strategy by officials and the FA to keep the excitement levels up about the league by helping City keep up with Liverpool. An odd red card or dubious off-side decision is part of the plan.
