Hendo is a figher, he gets the ball back, stops counters and keeps possession pretty good but its the lack of creativity that everyone dislikes. Imo we need a guy like him in case the other team gets creative or breaks 2 counter, although he and a few other midfielders could start hitting the box when they fancy a shot

Anybody understand what is the deal withe Henderson, he is the weakest link amongst midfielders, and possibly on the field. The leadership role can be filled by Milner who is a much solid player. Is it because he is one of the few British players they can use? I'm looking for answers.

What game where you watching? Henderson was one of the best players on the pitch.
Maybe you're just one of those people that hate Henderson for being Henderson, luckily Klopp knows better and that's why we're top of the league.

Everyone complains about Naby's performance, after after couple of months they will say that he is a bargain at 65 mil. It is his first season, give him time to adapt

Alisson must not be compared to De Gea. The former has a solid defence and is a formidable team and so concedes very few shots and goals while the latter has a frail defence with a weak team just getting rid of a dictator hence concedes thousands of shots. Most of the shots from Tottenham were directly towards De Gea. Tottenham must blame the lameness of their strikers and not the greatness of De Gea whom btw i admit is one of the best keepers in the world right now.

De Gea had a good game against Spurs, Alisson didn't have his best game today, form fluctuates. Both great keepers, but there's clearly one having a far better season.

Wonder why when it is de Gea that people always shoot near him. Why doesnt it happen with other goalkeepers??? The answer is positioning. De gea makes so many saves not only because of his reflexes but also being very smart in getting into the best of positions in anticipation. He gives the smallest of margins for strikers to shoot at compared to other keepers and hence he ends up blocking a lot of them. Only that it seems in the end that the strikers shoot at him. I still judge keepers by their ability to save, anticipate and position. In that regard allison is not even top 3. De gea, ter stegen and oblak for me. I dont care what they can do with their feet, i rather have 10 other players with that ability.

remember one thing, the reason why Liverpool bought Allison because he is sweeper keeper, he is ball playing goal keeper like Neuer , why ? because Liverpool play high line and attacking style, and Man city bought Ederson Morais for similar reason too, De Gea is very world class and good GK, but its not type of GK that Liverpool needed.

A very difficult match as i expected bearing in mind they beat city and have Zaha. Inspite of all this we beat them and without a proper right back and out of form midfielders like Naby and Hendo. Liverpool need to invest big in midfielders if they want to maintain their level for the next ten years.

PEOPLE....did you forget Palace beat City in at home???????? So this game was going to be close while Lovren and Arnold were out.So we won and still many are saying lucky...PATHETIC. Salah was the predator and poacher we need and other teams envy that. You say luck...i say right place right time

lol yes i remember inzaghi, and chicarito is the last poacher in this planet i think, so if salah can master that kind of role again, many haters will say like that but i will 100% love it

Mohammed Salah's passes and first touches were poor today, Keta was so poor. I have seen some loss of confidence in Liverpool players. They also looked tired. If they can't improve the next matches it will be a very disappointing season for them. Good Luck LFC.

Liverpool fans, although I am slightly biased to Big Shaq due to Bayern stupidly letting him go, I do have a question.

Do you prefer Henderson or Shaqiri starting if given the choice between the two?

Can't wait for the matchup coming soon. Wish it could have been a semi

Shaqiri cannot play in Henderson's position and Henderson cannot play in Shaqiri's position to start with.

dang, guess i was confused. I see Klopp using Shaqiri and Henderson as midfielders, with Shaqiri giving a bit more of an attacking presence and being left to roam and Henderson being a holding defensive midfielder. Thought that Shaq starting over him would give Liverpool a very attacking presence along with Keita and having Fabinho hold back. Thought wrong, I suppose

@yeetmaster Klopp Deploys 4-2-3-1 with two holding midfielders. So far the best proven line ups are Fabinho and Wijnaldum as the holding mids, and Shaqiri drifting on the right side as a half space midfielder. Henderson is usually a sub for the two holding mid spots, so really there is no correlation between if Shaq or hendo starts. What is annoying is that Klopp keeps deploying Keita on the left side which clearly doesn't work

@luckystrike826 thank you man! from footyroom and other online accounts, i have seen liverpool lined up at a 4-3-3, with Henderson and Shaqiri being haphazardly thrown into the midfield spots. therefore i thought that the best "midfield" would be shaqiri and keita for the attacking presence/xherdan floating around while fabinho holds the midfield behind salah/bobby/mane. that makes sense with 4-2-3-1, similar to Bayern who run that or the 4-3-3

Thats ...... alotta goals scored luckily in one match. Second match in since city and they've been winning narrowly without playing really good. You just think they could slip anytime. I guess since city loss, liverpool havent been the same again. Your deified goal keeper has let passed 5 goals til now but next few fixtures doesnt look that bad for ya. We'll see

What a nerve-wracking game this was. Injuries are killing us and Keita needs a lot of improvement. CP has always been a tough match for us, I'm happy they're behind us now. Looking forward to the next game.
