Richly deserved. Liverpool played for a point and paid for it.

Worst performance of the season so far. If only the game ended 5 minutes earlier. Congratulations to Napoli, they deserved it.

I don't know why Salah is so overrated. He can't be on the same level as Neymar and Hazard. He's nothing but one-season wonder.

What was Klopp thinking by not making the right changes that could've turned the game around despite seeing how awful Liverpool was playing.

0 Attempts for us? This was the worse performance by my team. The whole match was terrible to watch, almost smashed my TV!

its silly to say Liverpool 'ready to say GoodBye to UCL' this early, yes Napoli deserve to win this game, rarely any european team had easy task on italian soil, and at Anfield are no easier either, its Napoli mistake for drop points vs Red Star, of course Red star away is hard with serbian red star fans create big atmosphere, but Napoli's next two ucl fixtures were against Psg twice, and they meet Liverpool at final round at Anfield, Anfield always been nightmare for italian clubs, ask Roma or Juventus or Inter, recently only Fiorentina and Udinese italian that can beat us at Anfield.

True. Liverpool fixture s pile up is also another issue. They have to play tough matches for the past 2 weeks. Hope can take maximum points against Red Star Belgrade home and away.

Overrated liverpool team. You could dominated the game against average teams with your gegen pressing style. But when you faced smarter teams like chelsea and napoli you can't do anything

in 9 days we face chelsea twices (one away), Napoli away, and we will face Man city in 3 days to come, we need to avoid injuries no matter what happen, still in October we already lose Keita, Lallana and Ox, tough month of December is still ahead, where we play 3 games a week straight for the whole month including big games like Man utd, Arsenal away, Man city away, Psg away, Napoli , Everton with a lot of injuries i dont think we can survive that, but who know, miracle always happen to us, i will still keep faith to the team on matter what happen, YNWA.

Serie A league is so much easy to dominate. Players can play till 45 years of age. Ask Buffon or Bonucci.

premiere league which has plenty of young players what game do they provide on the international level? their level is limited to England. The only team that plays a different and better football is City. Besides, it is just a bunch of kickers, runners and fighters. They play more with their body than with their brain.
I wish Hazard, Kante, Salah and Pogba could leave that league. It will become a high school championship

Shouldnt you make that conclusion by the end of the second season? Saying hes a one season wonder when the second season has barely begun is kinda stupid.

You used to start well every season and end up 10th.I had high hopes on you guys.I thought Keita and the goalkeeper were just what you needed.Well i was wrong on Keita. He is trash. And Karius did a good job last season apart from the final. So i dont think anything has changed apart from the fact that Salah wont score more than 15 goals this season.I believe top 4 will be difficult for Liverpool this season.

Liverpool is not ending up 10th wtf we top 4 team. Karius has shown signs of shakyness throughout that champions league campaign last year clearly you haven't watched Liverpool properly. Thank god for Allisson.

This group is getting tough! if Liverpool win their home games they are very likely to go through to next round, let's see what happens between Napoli and PSG

I have a question. Why do I always see many empty seats in all homes games Napoli play? Do they have a ban or something?
3
diehardbarca 6 years ago
Barcelona 0 1821
Those seats cursed, Napoli never won single game in the history of club whenever fans are occupied those seats. Recently , Napoli allowed fans to sit there but lost easy game. So these seats will go empty every year because of this stupid belief.. I don’t see that changing in near future. The clubs have plans to make that area for trophy cabinet and always visible to entire stadium...

@diehardbarca That's true! Plus, combined with the fact that the lowest price for a ticket for this match was 150 euros (5 or 6 days ago - I know 'cause me % 3 other friends were thinking about going, given that we could've get two-way plane tickets for less than 50 euros), and when you come to think that Napoli's inhabitants aren't as rich as their 'cousins' in Milano, Torino, Genoa... that's why you get something like 43K attendance (which was the real one, not the one footyroom wrote), on a stadium with a 65K capacity!

Well.. It wasn't as beautiful match as we expected it to be, by the two teams that play very offensive football, regularly scoring many goals, but still... it was a cool game! However, it would've been really bad for Napoli, if they hadn't score tonight either, after the zillion chances in Belgrade and 3 woodworks, in the previous round against Red Star!
This group is just about to start getting complicated and difficult! But I think UEFA ought to explain to all of us, how come we get groups like this one, or the one where we have Barca, Inter & Tottenham at one place, and others, like the one with AEK Athens, or another one quite similar, I just can't remember now which one was it! I mean, which one of these three teams was in the 3rd hat? Liverpool? Napoli?! FUckin hell...

well... finally a slip for Liverpool. Napoli away is a difficult game though, and if a slip was going to happen right now would be better in my opinion. but boy 0 shots on target for Liverpool? Kudos to Napoli really, what a game they had

Dimitri7 6 years ago
AC Milan, Macedonia 0 1079
In order to do that, first they have to do really good in the following two matches against PSG, because those dropped two points in Belgrade in the previous round, could cost them a lot!

Amazes me how premier league team who spend millions summer after summer play negative in order to get a point - 2nd game of group stage. Just embarrassing tbh.
