A true God of the game. Please tell me how this guy is gonna be 35 in half a years time... At the age of 34 he's doing more and playing better than players in their prime 20s. This guy is literally not slowing down. How many players are Worldclass but never adapt as they get older and they fade into nothing. Ronaldo used to be a showboating player with insane pace and agility, now he's bigger, strong and older he's adapted to his body with full self-awareness and has maintained insane form. This guy is a role model for people who have dreams.... WORK HARD.

You're tripping man, that wasn't even a penalty for Switzerland, while it WAS for Portugal! The opposite angle makes it absolutely clear, so even without the first goal it should have been 3 - 0 at least.

Can't be a G.O.A.T if all your goals came from tap in and penalties

Pathetic...which of the three goals was a tap in or penalty.

After this game, i think more and more player will try to back heel opponent in penalty area and trip himself to get penalty, this type of VAR judgement is totally shit... Anyway well done for CR7 for getting his hattrick coolly~

If I were to compare Messi to Ronaldo, Messi is without a doubt the better player. But the better player doesn’t mean he’s the best player in the world. The reason I think Ronaldo is the best player in the world isn’t because of his tap in goals. Yeah, I get it he can’t really dribble anymore like his days in Man United and early days in Madrid. But what I noticed is that whenever he’s around, his teammates tend to play 10 times better because like I said, his presence boost one’s talent.

This just shows that he still got it that's why I said he's way better with Real Madrid players around him because they fit him more. He has more chemistry with them than the Juventus players.

But i agree on the no chemistry part! But still Ronaldos effect of boosting his team mates to play beter is higher in Portugal then in Juventus! I mean ffs Dybala aint shit now..

i could not really say it any better than you put it mate. true GOAT. I really get pissed off with all this messi v ronaldo debate but to be honest, if we are going to measure it in terms of success which is winning shit, and resolving games when it team needs it, then CR7 Is for sure way ahead, hands down

octopus90 he doesn't have to do that actually, but you know no matter what he's done haters always gonna hate so i guess he needs to prove himself every time, sadly..

24khaledgold what do you want him to then? switzerland weren't bad today and they were semi finalist you know. also as you said, a 34 years old man scored a hattrick do you think this is easy? you're being ridiculous.

to be the GOAT you have to hold him to the same standards as Messi which is to win a World Cup, if he doesnt win a WC he isnt the GOAT just like Messi. Also CR missed a penalty in 2008 CL final and lost to Messi CL final 2009, also lost to Messi in CL semifinal 2011 and almost every Clasico too.... so he doesnt always come through when the team needs him

If we nickname Wolverhampton Wolveturgal, shouldn't we call Portugal Portunaldo? 🤔

Or maybe Pornaldo? 😳

you seem to forget that portugal played without ronaldo for many games before now, we played in euro 2016 final without him most of the game, portugal is a balanced team, even though slightly worried with aging PEPE but he still made a decisive header that got him injured, all credit to him

@octpus Yeah, that was just a joke about that specific game. I just thought he was amazing there but you are right of course, Portugal are a strong team even without Ronaldo. I didn't mean to come off as direspectful toward them. Sorry if it seemed that way. 🙇‍♂️
