Hahaha that teacup celebration, top banter
Jokes aside, that was a pretty good game, can't believe they got a centerback to take the penalty but I felt like USA was going to win this in the long run too

Alex Morgan is better than most men in terms of vision and attacking prowess not to even mentioning I wanna do things to her that I'm pretty sure are illegal in all 50 states!

Fucking cunt. What kind of PEN was that? The power on that shot was as limp as my fucking dick. I'm sorry but England had a chance to equalise and maybe win it in ET or PSO. WHAT. THE. FUCK

No penalty at all. VAR must be removed and TV stations must limit the number of cameras showing the hair in player's nose from 67 different angels. Then the game will return to its roots the way it used to be - ref decisions have always been part of the drama called football. Look at Copa America - it's beyond ridiculous!

@ebisimajkata: PEN or not, they should not have squandered the chance they were given. Look at US vs Spain. They were terrible in that game. Why didn't White take that PEN?

What da fuck's up VAR? R u tellin me THAT was an offside?! What were those lines showing? White's ARM, and the two American defenders' feet!?!?! 'Cause from what I could CLEARLY SEE, her foot was in the same line as the feet of the US defenders! THAT'S A TERRIBLE VAR decision! TERRIBLE!
Nevertheless, English girls fucked up themselves by missing that penalty!
Fuck it!

If you’d tell me the women should get equally paid as men, I’d say no because the men are better and draw much more fans to the sport, hence bring in more money. And this is true everywhere around the world except for probably just one country...

The success and attention american women draw to this sport is worthy of higher salaries for them...

But maybe the rest of the world should be glad USAs mens team is not as dominant as the womens. Because they have what it takes, except for maybe the right culture for it.

11.7m people watched the match on the BBC yesterday. I'm not sure why you'd have a complex regarding equal pay. Keep you backward thoughts to yourself.

It's not backwards, last year's semifinal, England - Croatia was watched by 26.5m people. The final was watched by 516m people and the whole tournament was watched by more than 3 billion people. I don't think the women's world cup will reach anywhere near those figures. And salary is earned in club football, and I don't want to know what the figures are there so... Not really backward thoughts if you ask me.

I was born in Europe but consider myself an American. Never say we don't have the right culture for anything! If we set our sights on something we will blow the rest of the world out of the water. Our country is 243 years old and we're already ahead of the rest by several laps. 17 years ago you all laughed at our attempts at football. We have progressed immeasurably greater than any other nation for such a short time with 99% of population not even being remotely interested in that sport. Imagine if we make it a national priority? As far as women's go we are superior by a high margin to any other nation out there. England can go and fuck their queen!

@ebisajkata: wtf you ranting in all directions for? I’m talking about ”soccer”. Not american history etc. And no, americans dont have the soccer-culture like we have in europe. Its far from being number one sport like in many other places around the world. No one doubts the potential USA has... if they embraced soccer like superbowl I’m sure they would be serious contenders for FiFA mens WC title. But calm your tits.

@milanlamiavita: I’d didn’t say equal pay... smh. Read again...

The only point I made was that specifically the american womens team is so good and draws the kind of attention that it justifies higher pay. Which I think is fair in this case.

@The american guy: until your people stop murdering each other at the rate of a third world country, you have no right to criticize anybody.

Also, you have not progressed more than anybody. You literally did not make the last world cup. That is already a regression. As for the women, they are very good - congratulations to them.

@neurop, fully agree. America is a great place from the surface, but once you go there it's actually pretty fucked up, lot of shit going on down there. Two party politics, education, health care, crime, aaaaalll kinds of fucked up.

oh boy...more VAR controversy coming! Incredible game by England, very unfortunate in the end. I'm very impressed with the improvements the women's teams in Europe have made.

Well, to be fair, it IS coming home. The US won the first WWC, and is the frontrunner for the Women's game...

Lmao Americans and their entitlement. It has to be said though, it doesn't matter if it's the men's, U21's or women's the England national team is cursed when it comes to penalties.
