THIS CLUB PULLS ON MY HEARTSTRINGS. On to the quarters!!!! Extremely professional performance, considering our last 3 matches, and Dortmund beating Atletico 4-0 there in the group stage. Never in doubt. And let's all collectively have a laugh at Real Madrid. Congrats AJAX

Dortmund is doing it again. Impressive during the start of season, and somehow suddenly, turning into shit.

Or .. or .. Spurs are just much better team! Spurs were much better team in the beginning of the season, and this is their performance with a loose of form..

Spurs put in a performance beyond Dortmunds reach over 2 legs. Poch as a manager has smashed it. Even the greatest teams can fall when going against a polar opposite. That's why I find it hard to believe there is always a "best team". Like if team A beats team B and Team B beats team C and Team C beats Team A... Who is the best?

Give credit when credit is due my friend. Spurs has played exceptionally well this season, and even in its down form, it has the quality to make the difference. Dortmund just got outplayed by a very good team.

Well I didnt watch this game... but a "Congratz" to the spurs is well deserved.

As for Dortmund... the team is having the collapse of the century. From winning the league comfortably and advancing in UCL, to losing everything.

I 10-2 think winning in Germany would be hard, but now Spurs have done it twice in 2 years!

Wouldn't say Dortmund were in form for this tie, they've massively dropped off since December. Some context:

Prior to their last group stage game in the CL (December 12), Dortmund were undefeated in the first 14 league games (11 won, 3 drawn).

Between their last match in the group stage against Monaco and the first leg against Spurs, they played 7 league games. They drew 2 and lost 1. They also got knocked out of the domestic cup by Werder Bremen who are mid-table.

Between the 1st and 2nd leg against Spurs, they played 3 league games and in order, drew, won, then lost.

They might pick up again now that they only have the league to think about, but they've actually been pretty off the past few months.

Sold win. Professional job by Spurs. If they don't slip up like they usually do, they'll cause trouble to any team they face.

Well yea. Probably more than your team who seem to be out already since pogba wont play against PSG.

The thing is there is basically no hope for us (ManU), we are missing the entire midfield (Pogba, Matic, Herrera), as well as 2/3 front three (Lingard, Martial). Even subs like Mata and Sanchez are out too. Basically, we have to play with youth and reserve team.

I am looking for more like the response from the team rather than the result.

What the hell? I'm being positive about Spurs hahaha and I get downvoted. Spurs are notorious for slipping up in the CL. Poch had terrible game plans for certain games that knocked them out, when on their day Spurs are incredible. They did a proper job today but need to hold that level and be consistent. Pushing for the finals or winning the CL can setup Spurs for a proper future. Slipping up... well Spurs will retain that stereotype.
