What is this?

The ref is clearly made mattered worse by giving two undeserved yellow cards. Arsenal played extremely well before the red card, and the game turned over itself.

However, Arsenal has the chance to redeem themselves as the 2nd leg game is at Emirates, so I hope Arsenal will still go through.

Rennes team in the 10 rank in the french league table ..... Arsenal team in the 5th rank in the premier League table .... Respect for farmers league ( french league ) the league of talents with low players prices ....... French national team > British national team .... it is always the war between France and England in all aspects

Emery got it totally wrong last night. Why starting mustafi as a right back when u have a Maitland niles on the bench and fully fit to play. Moreover why is jenkinson not making the squad. He's not bad at all. And why substituted the only striker on the pitch for kolasinac when nketiah is on the bench and we're still trailing by a goal. But i believe arsenal will turn it over at the Emirates and qualify

lol we haven't heard you last night commenting ref about a generous penalty given to MU.. even former MU players like Ferdinand and Owen admitted that it was ridiculous to give a penalty ...

@FoxMulder eufa head of referee and a few ex-referee said penalty was the right choice. just take the loss and move on. thanks

God sake FoxMulder, it was a penalty decision based on VAR. And things are clearly written in the FIFA rule book, so if you want to argue against it, then good luck.

I was afraid this was going to happen. Like I said before... Rennes is very unpredictable. One day they have a good game another day a terrible game.

Come on Emery, give Mavropanos a god damn chance! He'd do 50 times better than mustafi and monreal combined!! :/

Mavropanos is not registered in the EL squad, so he won't be able to play at all...

@joethedrumma Yes I am aware of that, I am saying to avoid further misery, he should give mustafi and monreal a break in PL and let Mavropanos play... We won't win with these two in defence against united :/

Ref was bad.both yellow On Sokratis are Wrong, especially the 2nd.one when the opponent who made The foul. The most stupid Substitute is taking out Iwobi for Guendouzi. Guendouzi was the reason for 2nd and 3rd goal. He was sub in to PROTECT Montreal Benjamin, but the 3rd goal when Montreal was up there he didn't even go and watch Benjamin.

Yes Montreal was clearly outclass on the left side.
And AUBAMEYANG was useless the whole match.

Agree! Ozil should've been an immediate substitute at 10 men, but we were robbed by the ref/linesman again! I think we need to make the linesman more aware, They have one fucking job! and can't still do it right. Shame!

Pussy SG is consistent in losing second leg of their UCL games eventhough they got huge lead in the first leg they must surely give it away in the second leg hence it's knockout stage. Maybe they are scared to progress or maybe they trade the match for money, who knows.

Fear just gets to the players..they know the whole season rides on the game.
Maybe it's a leadership thing, I don't know.

I hope that PSG players watched this game to see what it means to play as a team...
Emery always won against Rennes with PSG, but today Hatem Ben Arfa took his revenge... :)

fuck off ref, Aubameyang clearly onside and straight after you create nonexistent red card for Sokratis, hats off. However Iā€™m still wondering what is Xhaka offering to this team

This was worse than losing to BATE. I still expect us to go through to the next round though. Aubameyang was poor.
