Hi mate, One guy just created an account and added me and from his 2 comments on the highlights he seems a nice person but i reported him to FR because he is using my Bio/About on his profile which is not good. This is the guy's profile http://footyroom.com/profile/?id=14345 I didn't add him because i assume he is a troll.

I was gona email them the link to the thread Jim at the end of the month when I genuinely believe we would have 30 plus members stating they support the petition. I feel that would be more powerful than my one email which I feel won't achieve anything. I think I'm gona leave FR mate. My idea seems the only solution to this cnut but as its of the table I don't really want to be part of such a website which wherever I look I see another one of his accounts and therefore am constantly reminded of this bastard. Looking at the forum now he has posted as several different ppl in the last hour including the duplicate account he made of my username. Furthermore I've had so many arguments with the kid I myself am viewed as a troll by others. I've tried to help but if I can't cure this asylum then I figure its time to go and join a similar site without the dick. Good luck mate and maybe one day if FR decide to do something about that parasite then I will come back. I do take great satisfaction tho in the fact that this kid must be seriously sad and mentally corrupted that he has a shite life ahead of him. I just fear what he might move onto next as he gets older and more bitter n twisted. Anyway see ya man and good luck in the CL race buddy :)

Thanks for putting the line breaks in Jim. Can you also delete the other posts where ppl are saying things other than there support. The other posts only encourage debate in the thread which it is not there for.

I presume would like it to not fail but get better. IMO, we have to find a way of attracting more football knowledgable/mature members. I did look at other footy forums after a few of those recent critical threads and it's true that they have wide membership and very interesting discussions.

Jim, I would like to say a few things: #1- I and a few of the long-timers know how hard you've been working and always love your input. IMO, you're one of the best members on this site

hmmm. I was contemplating becoming a mod if noone else seems to be helping you but I have 2 problems with this: 1-Very shortly I will be on FR less to study for more exams (I'm talking like within the next week) 2- If I can't do shit about the trolls (e.g. eliminate their accounts or at least put them on probational warning) then I'm not sure what the point is. Otherwise, I've emailed FR before about stuff but I feel that should be funneled through Mods directly so that they don't get inundated with asinine emails.

There were a few other random trolls that signed in and randomly spouted racial/hateful nonsense and left. My guess is it's the same persons. Some people are disturbingly pathetic. can't remember much more than that. I was making a more general comment about the overall quality of FR discussions and how I think people should be banned IMMEDIATELY without hesitation.

As for J_H he was just being stupid by going around saying that he's going to hack everyone's FB, emails, and Personal info and that we should all watch out (see thread you closed).

If we could somehow Mercilessly ban IPs than they'll run out of computers evnetually and we can clean up their clutter. I don't know what to do anymore but I thought I'd PM you instead of making a useless thread about it. The reputation of the site is being ruined. Cheers mate

Hey there Jim. Hope all is well. Gotta say that the new phenomenon of "account trolls" is getting a bit overboard. No longer have they restricted themselves to the highlights. They are in the forums and EVEN ruin the TalkRoom. Just yesterday I was trying to have a simple discussion about a match and someone kept repeatedly posting rubbish so that I couldn't read what the real members were saying..

That's great man. I think it's entertaining and a good idea overall. Just wanted to share the joy :)
