It is not about the opponents. It is about Barca and their home strength. Everyone knows how terribly difficult is to keep them away from goal on Camp Nou. They did comeback many times in Champions League as well (against Milan, Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea and so on). Main difference is that Italian strongest teams are not as good as Barcelona or Real Madrid, or even Atletico (we'll see how that goes in round of 16).
Spanish good teams except from the front 3, like Bilbao, Sociedad, Celta, Betis could easily break Torino, Lazio or Fiorentina, and Roma and Napoli are nothing better than Valencia and Sevilla, altho those would be great matches to watch.
