I think Man of the Match is Neuer. I don't like him a lot, but I think he made Bayern win.A lot of positive things to take and fix for both teams. Harsh penalty that opened the game for Bayern but I understand why its given. Poor Dzeko at 88min, but good for Neuer. Navas looks pretty dangerous, Pellgrini only needs to find the right squad mixing attack and defense, because City's defense was rock hard with a good goalkeeper behind.

:o| of course he is. BS is 29 - JW is 21. BS is 7x Deutscher Meister, 6x German Cup Winner and a current CL-Winner, 2x CL-Finalist and Schweini played 2 WC & 2 EC... and Wilshere?

$hitty realy did not have any chance in first half but with Toure on the pitch they got much stronger in second half.

i dont know why guardiola is trying to make bayern play like barcelona. bayern were good, javi martinez in midfield took them that extra step along with the direct play of ribery and robben so why guardiola feels the need to tinker with that is beyond me. why fix it if its not broken. directness over sterile possession anyday. well done city, wouldnt have begrudged you a victory.

Why do you think Guardiola is making Bayern play like Barca? Barca under Guardiola is playing to Guardiola style. You can't really expect a new manager to continue what the previous manager used. One of the most significant changes is RObben now playing through balls, instead of just cutting in and shoot, more build-up plays from Robben. I love seeing that Guardiola building his own team, putting in his own ideas, this is what a great manager is about, think of different approach, to me is really great, can't wait for the new season to start.

1-0 loss away and 1-1 draw (although it should have been way more at the Etihad) is hardly crushed. Joe Hart saved us though. Anyway this year its a whole new story with Pellegrini.

Even Ajax beat us. But our tactics were so bad. In Amsterdam we were winning and conceded 3 goals... At home, we conceded 2 goals from set piece in the first few minutes, and then recovered by 2 and then denied a penalty and an 'offside' goal. Hopefully we actually get out of the group stage this season.

Lol, that penalty is nonsense. Man City got 3 headeds, Neur saved. Nasri got 1 onside goal but disallowed. :/ Audi Cup = German

In my opinion, Guardiola is playing a bit 'around' robben (and will in the future) like he did with messi, since they are kinda similar, and after next season, he will be a candidate for the golden ball (hope so)!

what the world has coming to, when fools sympathasize more to city than bayern. we spent less than 1/3 of their budget in the last 4 years. look where we are and where they are ;-)

For those who thinks Javi Martinez is funny at CB,well he sometimes plays as CB at Athletic Bilbao remember? Guardiola knows the best position for him because he has been at Barcelona when Martinez is still at Bilbao

kiiicker 11 years ago
hmm, best defensive '6' in the world playing in the treble-winner squad or CB at Bilbao? what is more remarkable? i know, this is very hard to decide...
