Peru and Venezuela improved their game on this Copa, and it is nice to see Peru in the second round. Colombian had scored one goal by a a defender in the group stage. This is terrible because we expected more from the forwards (Cuadrado, James, Bacca, Jackson, Teo, Falcao, Ibarbo). In the other side Colombia had just received one goal in three games, the best defense in the Copa. We need to highlight the work of Ospina, Murillo, Sanchez, and Valencia. The game against to Argentina will be very exciting to watch, they have not been playing their best game, but they are the top team in the Copa.

for those people who dont understand football and purely judge a team off the scoreline know this. Columbia played great football that game and saying that they played "poorly" just proves that you know nothing about the game.

Colombia lacked fowards this tournament, Falcao and Teo are not good enough. Jackson Martinez should have started over one of them.

Colombia just have Mejia as a defensive midfielder for the game against Argentina. Pekerman needs to find a "new" defensive midfielder for the game. The most probably is that he will use defenders as midfielders like Franco, Valdes, Andrade, or Zuñiga. No one have played in the midfield. Maybe Pekerman will surprise us and start with Ibarbo.

Sososo proud of the character that each player had throughout those 90 minutes. Strongly believe we were the better team leading up to the second half and some of the second half. Going to have to continue with praising Advincula and especially Cueva who kept Cuadrado quiet while simultaneously attacking that left flank... Our dream continues. Vamos mi rojiblancoo!

yes neymar is stu pid to some extent but seriously speaking you cannot compare james to neymar. Look how neymar individually broke peru's defence apart with a goal and assis and could have a hatrick if it was not of the post. James was off the whole tournament. If venezuela/brazil wins tonight colombia are out

Advincula MotM for me. Bacca was complaining post-match about Neymar's viciousness as Brasil was losing the last game. I wonder what he'd say to Cuadrado menacing Cuevo (was that a punch?) and lil angel James (he's becoming more and more like CR) elbowing Advincula's face as Colombia stopped playing the ball with all their due frustration. Both players deserved cards. Peru deserved the qualification.
