Facepalm @Mirallas...as much of a class player he is, going against team-orders is a very childish and selfish act...To make it even worse, he missed the penalty...Up till now Baines has scored 15 of the 16 penalties he's taken. No surprise Mirallas was subbed off at HT.

Mirallas probably thinks he's bigger than the club after a few good performances.

Martinez has given Baines the Penalty job now that Mirallas missed. Also Martinez is a better coach then Moyes!

@KDC - i guess you're referring to what Martinez said in the post-match conference...that was very smart of him, but i'm not buying that. He's most probably just lying for the sake of being diplomatic and avoiding this controversy to be worsened by the media. No coach will ever say "this fellow had the nerve to go against the team orders and take the penalty, and he even missed it. That was selfish and shameful, so i subbed him off!' unless the coach's name is Harry Redknapp. Hahaha :v

Why everton is so weak this season ....goddamnit....EPL is very different this year.

The EPL is very different EVERY year. That's what makes it the so good. It is the most unpredictable league in the world. One team can be good one year (for example, Liverpool and Everton last year; Tottenham and Man United the year before) and the next year be very bad. The opposite is also true with teams being horrible and the becoming awesome the following year. You don't get this kind of shift in the strength of so many teams in relation to each other in any of the other European leagues; which tend to be consistently dominated by 2 or 3(at the most) teams for decades.
