@iHEART Well, its ain't done deal yet but they seem pretty confident it will happen. As for Arsenal, they had been linked with Sokratis and Lichsteiner above all thing so I guess they'll get those first and then we will see.

@iHEART Indeed it is. For £43.7m. Hope the signing work well for them.

Paper Talk:

  • Riyad Mahrez looks destined to complete a £75m switch to Manchester City.
  • Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart has switched agents in a bid to resurrect his career.
  • Liverpool are to tempt Roma with a world-record bid for goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
  • West Ham are closing in on appointing Mario Husillos as their new head of recruitment.
  • Luke Shaw is ready to stay at Manchester United and see out his contract.
  • More than 370,000 people have signed a petition calling for UEFA and FIFA to punish Sergio Ramos for injuring Mohamed Salah.
  • A heated debate is expected when the FA Council meet Fulham owner Shahid Khan to discuss Wembley.
  • Manchester City have had a £39m move for Jorginho rejected by Napoli, who hope Chelsea join in and spark a bidding war for the Italy midfielder.
  • Adam Lallana has been showing up early for training in a bid to impress England boss Gareth Southgate.
  • Everton are set to appoint Marco Silva after agreeing a deal in principle with the Portuguese.
  • Liverpool are racing to complete the signing of Nabil Fekir in case his World Cup appearances ramp up the price.
  • Gareth Bale is Manchester United's top target but even £349m may be too expensive for them.
  • Manchester United are tracking Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
  • Jamie Vardy has opened talks on a new £120,000-a-week Leicester deal.
  • Wolves are lining up a £27m move for AC Milan's Andre Silva.
  • FA bosses have been warned they face 'civil war' over the proposed sale of Wembley to Shahid Khan.
  • Arsenal are close to signing Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
  • Tottenham are considering switching their attention to Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.
  • Ryan Sessegnon will be at Fulham next season in spite of near incessant speculation that the 18-year-old will join one of Europe's elite teams.
  • The proposed sale of Wembley Stadium would prohibit the new owner from renaming it until 2057 and force them to agree to a host of other measures to protect the venue as the "home of football".

Other Rumours:

  • Lampard to Derby might soon be a reality.
  • Juventus are considering Higuain/Icardi switch.
  • Barca want Eriksen to replace Iniesta.
  • Lazio insist they received no offer for Milinkovic-Savic as of now.
  • Some South Americain pundit believe Neymar to Real is possible but not before the end of World Cup 2018.
  • Real Madrid should have a huge budget to add to their team this summer. Around 300M of Euro.

@Croatian Let us just hope he adapt quickly to the PL. I'm not too worried about it though, Ligue 1 player tend to suceed more often than they tend to flop in the Prem. They only need the good attitude and seeing how Fabinho say he made the move after being well informed by Firmino, I don't have too much worry. :)

Gareth Bale is Manchester United's top target but even £349m may be too expensive for them.

Where do they get these numbers rofl

Also, I cannot possibly be the only one who don't think Liverpool will challenge for the title. They finished 4th in a season where their best player had one of the greatest EPL seasons ever which is highly unlikely to be repeated, and they look utterly lost when he doesn't play well. Not to mention a resurgent Chelsea (and hopefully Arsenal), while neither Manchester side looks like they are slowing down. City will come in eager to avenge their UCL mishap, and ditto United. Everyone's got something to prove...except Liverpool really.

Not me, thats for sure. Don't expect United to move if he really cost them that much. As for Liverpool, I don't expect them to compete for the league but maybe for cup competittion, they certainly proved they could go farther than every other English side this season. ;)

how do we have nothing to prove? we were 90 minutes away from winning the champions league and finished 4th in the league? its not as though we won the treble and cannot win any more now. weve been so close to success under klopp and had it torn away in the final game. if anything, theyre going to be more motivated now. on salah, hopefully keita, fabinho and fekir can replace aspects of his game should he get injured + a new gk

Official:

  • Lewandoski want out of Bayern, its now completely official and even though there is yet to be an offer for him, he said that he would clearly lack motivation if he stayed in Bayern. Wonder how much they'll get out of him and with whom they replace him with. Real, PSG, Chelsea and the Manchesters are all interested.
  • Juve confident of completing the signing of Emre Can by the end of the week.
  • Adolf (Adi) Hütter to take over Frankfurt.

Paper Talk:

  • Chelsea's deal to appoint Maurizio Sarri is close to collapse over Napoli's insistence on them paying his full £7m release clause.
  • Manchester City will complete their £75m move for Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez this week.
  • Roma will demand £80m for goalkeeper Alisson, a target for Liverpool and Real Madrid.
  • Manchester United and Chelsea will fight it out to sign Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba, according to reports in Spain.
  • Arsenal still hope to sign Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Caglar Soyuncu before the World Cup begins.
  • Tottenham are keeping tabs on Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy as a possible understudy for No 1 Hugo Lloris.
  • Lazio expect to lose Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to a Champions League club this summer but have no intention of selling him on the cheap.
  • A significant VAR-related rule change could now mean players being retrospectively sent off over an incident of violent conduct which occurred earlier in a game.
  • Manchester City will not loan out Phil Foden next season as they prepare to announce the teenage midfielder's lucrative new deal.
  • FA chiefs have publicly confirmed for the first time that a winter break for Premier League clubs is to be brought in.

Rumours:

  • Liverpool target Cillessen.
  • Lampard still in talk over the post for managing Derby.
  • Interest from City, Real and PSG for Pjanic.
  • Barcelona could sell Dembele for 100M of euro.

By the way guys, am I the only one who think its stupid that Napoli ask for Chelsea to pay Sarri release clause when they are the one who announced a new manager first?

Ramsey has been offered a new deal of 130k a week! Ramsey wants 150k
Jorginho has chosen City over United
Lampard to be Derby manager in next 24 hours
Chelsea have been offered Higuain plus cash for Morata, but Chelsea just want 50 million first. Juventus do not want to pay Higuain's high wages.

@Emobot 200m is a high yes but seeing what Coutinho and Dembele went for it is not enough for Bale. He's coming off of one his better seasons scoring 16 goals in 20 matches in la liga and put up a historic performance in the most important game at club level.

@Yvan21 Still no convinced personally, I don't think at his age, that Bale got the potential to do that many more season like this in the future. :(

Lenglet ( Sevilla) to Barca done deal. 35 mil
Pjanic or Eriksen to replace Iniesta, imo none of them will come clubs aren’t selling.
Marlon ( Barça loanee to Nice ) to West Ham : deal between 15 and 19 mil.
Cillissen to Liverpool, Barca doesn’t want to sell, buyout clause 60 mil can be activated if the player wants to move. ( most underrated GK - 60 mil is not bad if we loose him ) outstanding each time he is starting.
Griezmann teammates are trying to convince him to stay, Antoine cried last Game, he first was whistled then Godin and El cholo talk the crowd to stop and applaud him, whole stadium sang his name, Torres came and told him “ we all need you in here “ Griezmann cried Due to emotions. It would be incredible gesture if he stays But as Barca fan I really hope not. Better follow the reason rather than the heart.

Lewandoski want out of Bayern, its now completely official and even though there is yet to be an offer for him, he said that he would clearly lack motivation if he stayed in Bayern. Wonder how much they'll get out of him and with whom they replace him with. Real, PSG, Chelsea and the Manchesters are all interested.

He seemed to lack motivation for a while. Would be really happy if he finds club where he will be best at, and we replace him quickly.

@tiki Agreed, I understand both the fanbase and the team around him want to put pression on him but at the end, he need to make his own decision, he already stayed last year because of the transfer ban despite wanting to leave. Personally would be unfair if they forced him to stay any longer.

Also, by the way guys, what the hell is going on, Zidane out of Real? Why, when, how? O_o

Edit: Ok, so, I learned Zidane left Real while writing this post, so sorry for the fact I left confused in the middle of it.

Anyway tiki, I've seen a bunch of article on the internet telling me that Lenglet to Barca isn't complete yet, you sure about that being done deal? If yes, could you link your source?

I believe Zidane leaving Real Madrid may help us to keep Hazard. Hazard always said Zidane was a huge inspiration to him and undoubtedly would have loved to play under him. I know it may be small but there's now one less reason for Hazard to leave for real.

Interested to know what you guys think - will Hazard leave Chelsea this summer?
