What are the most memorable individual seasons you have witnessed from players? It's just a question I have because I recently thought about this question myself. These are the ones I came up with.

Luis Suarez - 2013/14 with Liverpool
Luis Suarez - 2015/16 with Barcelona
Andres Iniesta - 2010/11 with Barcelona
Andres Iniesta - 2012/13 with Barcelona
Xavi - 2010/11 with Barcelona
Lionel Messi - 2010/11 with Barcelona
Lionel Messi - 2011/12 with Barcelona
Cristiano Ronaldo - 2011/12 with Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo - 2012/13 with Real Madrid
Franck Ribery - 2012/13 with Bayern Munchen
Robin van Persie - 2012/13 with Manchester United
Frank Lampard - 2009/10 with Chelsea
Gareth Bale - 2012/13 with Tottenham
Wesley Sneijder - 2009/10 with Inter Milan
Diego Milito - 2009/10 with Inter Milan
Maicon - 2009/10 with Inter Milan
Manuel Neuer - 2010/11 with Schalke
Robert Lewandowski - 2012/13 with Dortmund
Bastian Schweinsteiger - 2012/13 with Bayern

Since I'm Bayern fan I would obviously root for Schweinsteiger but Sneijder one in 2009/10 is my favorite. Whole Inter at time.

Didn't Messi score 91 goals in 2012/13? Wouldn't call it best of his seasons, but probably most amazing one, 91 goals is alien number. Since I'm Bayern fan I would obviously root for Schweinsteiger but Sneijder one in 2009/10 is my favorite. Whole Inter at time.

Ronaldo's 07/08. Unreal. I'd never seen anything like that in the EPL, and I'm not sure I ever will again.

Suarez 13/14 > ronaldo 07/08. Suarez dragged an average Liverpool side with players like Lucas, Henderson, skrrel, mignolet, Flanagan etc to almost winning the title while ronaldo had the luxury of world clsss players like Rooney, tevez, ibrahimovic, guggs, scholes around him

Kaka- 2006/07 with Milan
RVP- 2011/12
Buffon- 2005/06
Neuer- 2012/13

That's the elite seasons of a few players

ibrahimovic, guggs,

Ok. Cool.

Doesn't change my view that Ronaldo's 07-08 season the best I've ever seen from an individual player. You know you were watching the best player in the world when you saw him play. As good as Suarez was, I never felt that way during his Liverpool time.

Sadly, the only one I can agree with is "Luis Suarez - 2015/16 with Barcelona". Its suck having so little football experience. :(

Gonzalo Higuain 36 goals in Serie A for Napoli 2015-2016 should be on the list.

I Completely agree with what Golazo111 said about higuain. plus, the other best individual seasons according to me are Iniesta and Xavi 2010/11 (because they beat the best team in the world during the ucl final that time), maicon milito and sneijder also had the time of their lives when they earned that treble with the world's current best manager. Luis suarez was OUTSTANDING with Liverpool 13/14 and should've won the title if only gerrard didn't let the pitch 'pull him to the ground'. but all in all, Van persie is EVEN MORE outstanding than all the other players I've mentioned above during his first season with Manchester Awesome United.

@Croatian

91 was his calendar year goals for 2012 when you added up his Barcelona and Argentina goals. It was mostly the tail-end of his 2011/12 season, which I put up there. His 2012/13 season was injury-ridden; he managed to score some 60 goals, but it was mostly against the weaker teams in the league.

2011/12 was when he scored 73 goals, a number I still have difficulty grasping today even though I watched some 40 of those goals live.

O phenomeno's only season at Barca in 96/ 97. Just phenomenal and out of nowhere from a kid at the time. Barca sold him to Inter for a record fee the season later.

Think Van Persie was even better in 11/12 than 12/13. I pretty much idolized him at the time and even made an essay about him in school.

Didier Drogba - 2011/12 with Chelsea. What a season!! Won the Champions League for us most definitely!!

If we are talking about an individual season for Drogba, 2009/10 was his best by far. The season you're talking about he scored only 5 league goals, and 6 CL goals.

Yes it was more that it was outstanding because he was the hero and man for the big occasion especially that season. That's what made me say it really, however yes it was no way his best goal scoring season!
