Yea, Bradford, my mistake. We have to keep focus on FA Cup and finish top 3 this year.

Just one question for Gunners, why did Ramsey not start ? Best finishing skills of the whole squad, also fight for the game like it was for his life...
Sanchez and Giroud despite not doing the perfect game, they seemed to want their ticket more than any player there...

Well, Giroud was obvious selection, and I think he tried probably most of all in first half. I was kinda surprised when Welbeck was in startling line up, he wasn't bad, his pace was good, but his technique is horrible.. Would play Ramsey instead of him. I was most disappointed by Ozil, got brilliant technique, but his passing today was awful, specially in 2nd half. Always do something great but then totally fucks it up..

Yeah Ozil is gifted just like Cazorla, but do they want victory for their team that much... When you see Simeone team 15 times less paid than Ozil tearing big budget teams appart by passion and fighting spirit, some of those players are even limitted players but they leave their blood on the pitch...

Ozil if he failed like this while playing with Madrid Mourinho era, i tell you what was going to happen for him, get booed right after putting his first foot in Madrid airport, get into the bench for a month with a very angry coach, 80 magazines and specialists criticizing his performence, headlines about him not giving his best, winner mentality teammates trusting him less and less on the field and not doing the efforts for him like he isnt doing it for them, big troubles to sum it up.

2nd half after few words from the coach, you would have seen Ozil running everywhere like a dog, to make the outcome of the game better for his life after the game and his own mental comfort, when 45 minutes can ruin your month you dont stop running...

While now whats gonna happen ? Some nice fans will excuse him, ok he will do better one day, erase all his lack of interets at his future good performence, hype untouched, teammates laughing tomorrow as they were qualified....

That will just let him do his job when the ball is in his zone, never gonna look after it or run the whole field, and imo thats what is happening for him, lack of pressure makes him take it easy... ( anyway he wasnt supposed to win it doesnt he ? and this sort of excuses protecting players by love makes them fight less )

Thats only my opinion i may be wrong and completely off topic but i hate players who did wonders underpressure relax like this with their wages almost doubled...

Actually, @Tiki has it on point with Ozil. The Bernabeu crowd are ruthless, and the fear of being booed by the fans will keep a player motivated to give his 100% for the club every time he steps on the pitch. Not only that, but Ozil was replaceable in Madrid. If he failed to perform, Mourinho could've just as easily slotted in Kaka. But Ozil is irreplaceable at Arsenal because he is easily their best player alongside Alexis, and is being paid bucketloads more. This has settled in a sense of complacency in him, and that probably has a mental effect on him.

And, of course, the obvious reason, Ozil's teammates are nowhere near as good as in Madrid. His teammates had such excellent movement that he literally had to put in no effort into picking out his passes. At Arsenal, the lack of movement is appalling and obvious. He doesn't have any good players to pass to. Even Alexis prefers to pick the ball up from in front of the defense rather than sneaking in behind them. Ozil has no Ronaldo, no Benzema, no di Maria, no Higuain, and no Callejon.

How does the fear of being booed by disgraceful crowd of supporters can helo you perform better? I seriously doubt that. A player doesn't need to feel threatened to perform better. It is in their blood if they want to give it their all or not, no media or crowd or manager can influence on a player that is not performing well enough. It's not like all players perform badly because they feel relaxed and not pressured enough. Having the confidence of the manager and the trust of the supporters can boost a player's morale way more than anything.

Well it depends on wich player we are talking about, some are competitors/winners, they live for the game.
Btw, its not only the fans and not only in Spain, Benz got booed with ''les bleus'' for his 9th scoreless game and unfairly imo because the team wasnt good at this moment and he assisted crucial goals in his scoreless period and didnt got much occasions, plus his off-ball was completely ignored.

Here its a player who should produce, create, the off-ball is inexistant, 0 ball recovery, 0 runs,is he exausted ? Then why he even play an away game for a complicated come back...

He isnt the only one, Di Maria for instance dropped form too, i mean do Madrid give them illegal products ? ( of course not and dont bring the league excuse they shined in the latest stages of CL wich no English team seem to reach...)

The fans in Spain are good games analyzers, in Madrid socios take even part in players transfer signings list, and they are barely wrong about players performences, players like Ronaldo, Suarez doesnt need no coach no fans to have the killer instinc, pitch is a war zone if people doesnt practice enough...

Some players cant be at high level expectations if they dont have this kind of pressure, week in week out, Piqué is one of them, always need pressure to stay competitive for the win, the rule is simple, you want easy life then you get the hell out of the team and go find some other place to take it easy...

Neymar despite his amazing start of the season is causing group problem having some off forms and diva body language, and first or not, performing or not, he should get directed, he didnt appreciated again to be subbed while he was comming from 4 days vacation from Brazil after intentially getting booked to take his 5th yellow and not miss calsico ( another story ).

All this to say that Arsenal players waited to be on a result urgency situation to perform as they should always perform, not only when they have a come back to do.

Putting some players in an urgency situation like Mou always do with his players for instance isnt just proper to Madrid, Pep, Enrique and Simeone apply same thing no matter how the gap is or the actual score...

Where is this player gone ?

This is in a game Madrid are leading 3-0, Mou reaction for Ozil not throwing his bodt to score. (got subbed few minutes after )

Excessive ? Yes, but it turned a team who used to make to 1/8 final of CL andgetting eliminated for 5 years in a row to regular semi-finalist of the competition, and the gap level is huge in term of hard work, concentration and team work...
