Louis Van Gaal temper - United's future manager ?

Clearly , Van Gaal does not put up with sh*t . United's dressing room needs a good tactician who also has powerful voice to get respect of the squad and who would not put up with egos . Lois van Gaal is that man for sure .

He laid the ground work to making Bayern top team which Jupp Heynckes perfected it . Dutch coach should settle nicely in premier league just like Eredivisie players have no troubles adapting EPL style of football .

His big club arrogance is what we kind of need. Moyes lacked that.
Interesting to see how he'll do if he goes to United.

United need to choose wisely because its all over if they pick another Moyes. Van Gaal is pretty good but you only really know when the season kicks off

Van Gaal could be good to help transition to go smoother . There are just too many changes United will have to go through . IF sources do not lie , Glazers plan to give 200+ million for transfers to build the right team . Knowing the shortage of top class managers , and Van Gaal pretty much offering himself , he could be very good option at this stage .

Edit: EPL will get even more interesting with him and his ex student Mourinho being rivals ! :D

He is a great coach no doubt and I am sure he can sort out players if they cross the line. But yeah, his temper does concern me a bit haha. But it would be great for EPL if him and Mourinho are both talking to the press or face each other.

I still would rather have Klopp, Blanc or Ancelotti however unlikely it is to get them. We just need to offer them a really delicious contract and test their loyalty.

He should take Ryan Giggs as assistant coach . Giggs has a respect of the squad and knows United in and out .

@thegame you mean the offer United gave to Moyes ? 6 year contract which now may cost 30 million due to early termination . Today United had the best game of the season under Giggs . It was completely different team similar to one that won EPL last year . That makes me think that it was not fully Moyes fault but also players did not want to play for Moyes . So if they do not get along with Klopp or blanc , it will be same story all over again .

Ironically that is how Chelsea players used to get our coaches fired . Most notable victims were AVB and Scholari . It was a revolt against them .

@Marcus2011, being a manager requires completely different set of traits than being a player. Good players don't always make good managers. Now, Giggs might have his coaching badges but he is not ready for the job yet. And it will end bad if results do not go in our favor and we end up sacking him. Klopp and Blanc have proven that they are top quality given the fact that they've won titles in their respective countries and give their teams an identity. Giggs is a risk that we don't really have to take.

As for Moyes, he was the wrong one. Plain and simple. The way he manages will always suit a mid to top table team. 30 mil is nothing compared to what he cost the club, in the stock market and revenue loss.

This is a topic for another discussion, but I don't think AVB is suited for English football. His tactics require lots of discipline and the pace of the EPL creates too much chaos for them to really work. Relying too much on tactics takes away the mental aspect of the game. He'll definitely be a success in another country though.

No one thought that Pep Guardiola was ready , but look how that turned out . Yes, in many ways there was system set up which Guardiola evolved into final product which they call "tiki - taka " . United has system and style , so Giggs just needs to carry it on . I think assistant manager will be great position for him and eventually he will grow into first team manager , if club is skeptical to put him as first manager right away .
