Why even compare womens football with that of mens? Do we compare them in tennis, athletics, swimming, basketball etc.? The women do not have the physique of men which is probably the reason men are better if you you MUST make a comparison of any sort. But that doesn't justify the mockery against womens football.

most of the womens defence (mostly goalkeeping) is not very good atm, but it will improve with time. I mean as strikers what are they supposed to do? just miss?? I agree with you.

Just read that some staff members of the Ivory Coast asked the german players if they are "ready to lose" and so on (both teams reside in the same hotel) ... Simone Laudehr told this to german media, explaining why they were so eager to win this. I don't get it: why would you mock a world class team as a member of a rather inexperienced team ... o.o

It's an achievement to score in a world cup and to not celebrate is treating them like a child who can't take being beaten. I would find it patronising if they didn't celebrate.

I watched the final 10 minutes at 8-0. Germany were a league above IC. They seemed intent to keep playing to the end and of course got another 2 goals, but could easily have scored more in that time alone. If that was how it was like for the entire 90 mins they could have been 30-0 perhaps. Saw one IC attack where German goalkeeper dropped an easy catch, then an IC player headed over from 6 yards... comical. Just like men's ref, the womans ref was rubbish, denying the most obvious penalty ever. If German's just took any shot on target they probably had an 80% chance of scoring. I hate to say it but womens goalkeepers all seem really incompetent. As for the Germany attackers, they were great to watch, with good skill, passing etc.

@GuraDroid Not sure, I play football every weekend and I'm in pretty good shape, I go to the gym 3 times a week since 2 years ago. Women's football is a joke, their national teams can't even get a win against u-15 boys, if you don't believe me go google that shit.
