Italy went out the WC too, yes, but after beating England in the group. also, we got 4 WCs and were finalists in the last Euro 2012. can you see now the difference between a top tier national team like Italy, and an average mediocre team like England? and yes, pointing that England should have won this match annoys me, because it's not the truth, but a fabrication of a deluded, football-ignorant mind, who persists in throwing at us an image of English football which is amazingly distorted. England doesn't belong to the elite. period.
