Literally anything good that happens for Argentina is 80% Messi's doing, yet whenever they lose it's always him who gets the blame. Even against Brazil last week, Messi was the ONLY Argentina player who showed any sort of quality the entire game, yet who gets the most criticism? Messi. It's a joke. Without him they would have a minuscule chance of even qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

I've never see Messi push himself so hard like this, especially the third goal when he tried so hard to get the ball back and gave assist to Di Maria. Nice game Messi. You don't need to prove anything, you already be the best.

2 bullets from GOAT n Pratto dismantled Colombia. Also a genius assist from GOAT to Angel was like a whipped cream on the top. I am so happy that kun n papita were on the bench . Pratto adds aerial ability to Arg.

I don't normally vote for MotM...But I just had to this time. Messi...class of his own. Had a hand on all goals.

He scored.
He assisted.
He won the ball back, and assisted.

i actually have, the diference is that it doesnt end in a goal and everyone forgets about it. People keep saying ''why he doesnt do that everytime'' the fact is that he allways do, but some people only watch goals highlights and others actually believe what they hear

The satisfaction of watching Argentina not playing Higuain, it relieves some stress. Divine performance from Messi, as usual. Keep it up Argentina, we're on the right track.

All assist situations of Messi to his teammates , if there is Ronaldo instead of him I'm sure he will shoot directly ..
Unfortunately this is a bad fact about Ronaldo teamwork.

For that third goal I love how messi didn't pass it to Higuain who was right in front of goal and gave it to Di Maria instead. He knows first hand that Higuain can't score for Argentina :D

I'm happy happy we won, but I'm worried because we rely way too much on Messi. Without Messi this team is unbelievably limited which is the unacceptable with players we have. I hope Dybala, at least, can take some of the load off Messi's back. I'm certain he's capable. And I also hope we can rid of our DUNCE manager ASAP.

Dybala needs more time. We can't put the kid in big games all the time, he can't start off like that. We put him against Uruguay...red card. He has to settle in. The ideal scenario is to not entrust him with being the game changer. Shouldn't play him against chile next. He should play bolivia, easier game (hopefully), where he can get rhythm and get settled him. He shouldn't play high pressure games.

gonzi i would rather see dybala and lavezzi or vietto play all night just to make sure di maria and higuain dont play. those two make me sick.

No surprise seeing Argentina winning without both higuain and aguero playing. But Messi man! Like jesus that second goal assist was 10/10!

Always good to see the best in history show his magic. But i have a bad feeling that Argentina playing like this won't make it to the World Cup. They have to raise their level and not always count on Messi!

Argentina players do not link at all, just long balls all the time.

Argentina players do not link at all, just long balls all the time. Good teams will beat them easily. Players should also put the team first. That`s the difference with barcelona. they do have great players but team spirit is low. I think the third goal was meant for Higuain....man why the don`t bench him always haha
