Despite only having played one game with what is probably considered the "A Squad", Spurs have managed to not only go undefeated, but boast the best defense in the EPL. Aside from the long-term injury to Kane, when Tottenham get all their players up and running, they're going to be a force. Staying on a good run like these even while playing poorly shows how much they've grown as a team in the last few years.

if Middlesbrough ever win a game with Valdes in goal, it will be a miracle.. not to say that he was at fault for the goals, but he gives 0 confidence to his defenders.. and he is plain awful at crosses and high balls

Spurs look like title challengers, but I think they are overrated.

Only strong team they played was Liverpool, which they would have lost without the help from the refs.

I respectfully disagree about the Liverpool match, as Sadio Mane was lucky to not get sent off. How exactly did the refs help Spurs that day? Additionally, Spurs are unbeaten so far this season with Dembele missing most of the games. Their improved depth is demonstrated by how they've coped without Dembele. Last season, they lost earned 2.3 points per game when he played and only 1 point per game when he was absent.

Liverpool got lucky to be handed a penalty they didn't deserve, and failed to score anything else. It's true that their midfield ran all over ours, but they ultimately got only a point for it, which was the fair result considering the balance of play in the final thirds at each end. Same number of shots, same amount of possession, same amount of corners, and in the end: same amount og goals/points.

Disallowed goal, penalty not given ... and complete domination for about 65 mins ...

ask any neutral, they will say that Liverpool deserved to win. But do not worry, Liverpool will finish the job on 25th Oct.

The goal was 'disallowed' because it was offside, therefore not a goal, and the penalty they didn't get was made up for by the one they did but shouldn't have. We on the other hand didn't get the penalty we should have. A point was deserved by both teams.

You didn't even watch the match, so don't bother to talk about what the neutral would have thought. Liverpool failed to breach Spurs' defense from open play, end of story, whereas we breached theirs, and should have had a penalty.

What do you mean disallowed goal? It was clearly offsides during the buildup!

He got injured last week against Sunderland, same with Dembele. Both were listed as cramps but it seems like they may have been minor muscular injuries.

Spurs did well to secure 3 points to keep pace with the other clubs that won, but should've been far more ruthless today. Alli was wasteful again, and Sissoko earned a 5 out of 10 in my opinion.
