Team Performance

City and Liverpool are almost the same this season. Defense is a joke at times and finishing is a joke at times (that miss from Lallana though) and the performances are often inconsistent. But high energy, end to end attacking. Good entertainment

A pity they don't show a detailed slo-mo of that Milner tackle. Looked like a foul to me.

Look at Real Madrid players , they deserve their high prices because they are super stars but look at Manchester City players or Liverpool they are overrated players and they did not deserve their high prices

Unbeaten against the top 6 teams, but lost to bottom half team. No wonder they still can't win the league.

Klavan not good at defending low cross, last week (vs burnley) liverpool concede almost the same way ,low cross from the left side of liverpool (Milner left back and Klavan left centre back), i starting miss Sakho, liverpool last year defensively better , Matip and Sakho pairing could be good, both of them ball playing defender who good at long ball , its good for Klopp tactic to counter small team buses,

and Liverpool didnt have one consistent No 9 Striker , like Chelsea 2013-14, thats explained how Liverpool become Robin Hood of EPL this season, like Chelsea that season beat both Man city (1st), and Liverpool (2nd) Home and Away but lose to team like Sunderland and C palace at home, and its solved when D. Costa joined next season .

so man city save their energy ( play slow and safe) and rest their important player like Toure and Ottamendi vs Monaco for this liverpool game ? that kinda stupid to sacrify UCL round 16 2nd leg for 3 points in EPL, at the end Man city didnt win neither of that two matches.

Trademark Premier League context that could've gone either way... brilliant stuff from both sides ! Just demanded some better finishing.

Lallana wanted to pet the ball with his foot, "thats a good little ball" he did it pretty good too if you ask me haha. But wat a match to watch. Was back and forth from net to net for practically the whole 90 mins. This is wat makes football likeable yes

first half was pretty even. The two teams came close to open the score. Second half Liverpool started great and got the lead but City controlled the ball afterwards until the end. Liverpool were too dangerous in the counter attacks late on, but they two set of strikers missed so much in the end. Balanced game in my opinion and either team could have won it.
