Match facts

Barcelona

  • Barcelona have lost just three of the last 13 Clásicos they have played at home in all competitions (W7 D3).
  • Should Barcelona win this game, it would be their 50th victory over Real Madrid at home in La Liga.
  • Barca have scored in each of their last 21 games against Real Madrid, the best run of a side in the Clásico history (all competitions).
  • No Barcelona manager has ever lost two Clásicos in a row at home.
  • The last seven Barcelona goals against Real Madrid at Camp Nou in all competitions have been scored by different players.
  • Barcelona have drawn their last two league games and have never drawn three in a row with Luis Enrique in charge.
  • 27 points after the opening 13 league games is the worst start for Barcelona since 2007/08 (also 27), when they finished the season in third place.
  • Lionel Messi is the Clásico’s top scorer with 21 goals.
  • Messi has gone five games without scoring against Real Madrid in all competitions, his worst such run in El Clásico.
  • Messi is the current player from both sides with the most assists in Clásicos (13 in all competitions).
  • Neymar has been involved in five goals in his six Clásicos (three goals and two assists).
  • Luis Suárez is the only player to have scored a brace against Keylor Navas in La Liga since his arrival at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid

  • Real Madrid have won five of their last nine games aganst Barça in all competitions (L4), including their last trip to Camp Nou (1-2).
  • Zinedine Zidane could become the first Real Madrid manager to enjoy consecutive wins in Clásicos at Camp Nou since Miguel Muñoz in 1965 (four in all competitions).
  • Zidane have gone 25 games in a row without a defeat in La Liga (W22 D3), with his team scoring in all of them (an average of three goals per game).
  • Real Madrid have picked up eleven red cards in their last 26 Clásicos, with four of them coming for Sergio Ramos (all competitions).
  • Only Alfredo Di Stéfano (18) has scored more goals for Real Madrid than Cristiano Ronaldo (16) in Clásicos in all competitions.
  • 10 out of the 16 goals (62.5%) scored by Cristiano Ronaldo against Barcelona have come at Camp Nou.
  • The Portuguese striker has scored in four of his last five appearances against Barcelona, all of them in La Liga (four goals).
  • Cristiano Ronaldo has scored ten of Real Madrid’s last 16 goals at Camp Nou in all competitions.
  • Ronaldo has scored all five Real Madrid goals in his last two league games (one hat-trick and one brace).
  • Benzema has assisted more goals than any other current Real Madrid player in all competition Clásicos (5), with three of them scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Predictions

Looking at recent performances and the run of form, Real Madrid seems superior to Barcelona. The Los Blancos haven’t lost a single match this season, which shows their might.

Even the injuries to key players haven’t affected them in terms of results. Real will look to continue their impressive unbeaten streak at Camp Nou as well.

Final Score – 1 : 2

Huge boost for Barca that Iniesta is back. I just hope they are not rushing him back and risk to get him a long term injury again. 2-1 win as Barca really must win this to not lose to much ground to RM.

Cannot believe the idiots here are naively ruling out Barcelona. The little midfield maestro who make Barcelona tick is back, his name is Iniesta fool ! Real Madrid have Toni Kross & Bale missing. At end of the day, current form hardly matters in El Classico. It's all about the DAY FORM, fool !!!!! Just like Real Madrid ended Barcelona 24 games unbeaten run last season, Barcelona will return the favour tomorrow. It's Barcelona all the way ! A Barcelona win will make LA Liga more interesting. If Real Madrid win, they will go 9 points clears. Good for Real Madrid fans but boring for everybody else. Keep it tight like the English league. Come on Barca....

thats why ronaldo is the best striker and messi is the the best player in the world..any fool can see that and if you dont see it, you dont khow football or you are just hating. listen to yourself you are just hating. i agree that barca is out of form but anything can happen in elclassico. messi has 9 goals in UCL and 8 goal in laliga until now this season. so goals doesn't mean anything if the team is out of form. i agree that real Madrid as a team has been playing better the last couple of games.

El clasico is not about which team on form, its Special match,

in 2013-14 barca look terrible enough yet they win twice (2-1 and 3-4) vs real madrid, last season at camp nao Real madrid win 2-1 ended 24 undefeat barca run streak, cant predict this match

Looks like a draw to me. But then again it could go either way really. Recent performances doesn't really mean anything when it comes Clasico. Even if you looked at the run of form, both teams haven't exactly been brilliant as of late. Yes, Real Madrid may have managed to bag the points but with too much struggle, the forwards especially are getting too wasteful with the scoring chances. But hey if Real Madrid win this, I defo won't be complaining!
